Yeah unfortunately not much that can be done. It does affect the star seller metrics of course, but tbh I the majority of my orders come from the U.K., USA and EU, so my metrics are still at 99% on time dispatch with tracking, despite having quite a few orders from Canada. They just get balanced out 😊

I started to see things really pick up around the second week of November. So far on over 3k+ revenue since the start of November. Would be pretty happy with those sorts of numbers again for December but we will see. Unsure how much more this will spike heading into December, as this is my first Christmas since doing Etsy. Like Callum I had a weird drop in sales over the weekend last week but seems to have picked back up to normal again!

Super happy to see this! Hopefully will help newer sellers as we do get a lot of repeats of the same sorts of questions!

@Victoria Briggs say you sell an A5 poster on Etsy for £10.99 (just an example, you can set your own prices how you see fit but I would recommend keeping prices fairly competitive whilst you start out), you pay printshrimp £4.99 to print and ship it for you. Any money left over after Etsy fees is your profit. When you start out Etsy may put an account reserve on your shop so it takes longer for your funds to be payable to you so it is worth noting that this is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s useful to have some funds to pay out at the beginning until you get some momentum, same as any business starting out really. I was at a loss for the first month or two but now making around 1k give or take in profit a month. But yes, you do have to pay printshrimp to do their part, you can’t get something for nothing :)

@Victoria Briggs it should be covered in the classroom videos 😊 once you’ve got one listing up you can just copy that listing to create a new one with all the same attributes (and just change the title, tags, photos etc). But yeah, definitely go back over the classroom videos and find where Tom goes through setting up a listing correctly!
