Just checked out Perplexity’s AI Browser
Been digging into Perplexity’s new Comet browser and… it’s pretty cool. Rather than working like a chatbot, it works as an AI layer within your browser that can take action inside your browser in an agent-like fashion. Here’s what stood out: 🔑 Benefits - Agentic AI: it doesn’t just fetch info, it does things (navigate sites, pull metrics, find files). - Podcast/YouTube workflows: ask “what was my most downloaded episode last quarter?” and it digs through your dashboard. - Content repurposing: auto-generates posts, titles, even thumbnails from transcripts. - Context awareness: remembers what you’ve been working on, builds on past queries. - Research assistant: For example if you run a podcast it can find top podcasts/videos in your niche and surface trending topics/guests. - Chromium-based: familiar setup, Chrome extensions still work. What's cool about this is that it basically works as a VA within your browser helping to save so much time. 👉 Full demo here (worth a watch): 👉 Some deeper write-ups: TechRadar, Tom’s Guide, WindowsCentral (security flaws) Has anyone here tested it yet? Curious how agencies could fold this into client workflows (reporting, content repurposing, ideation).
