Fatigue
Hi everyone!! I’ve really been struggling with the fatigue that comes along with coeliac, usually having to have 2 hour naps every day, struggling to wake up, and to stay awake when I go out. Some days it’s more severe than other days, and I’m currently going through quite an intense patch (just woke up from a 3 hour nap where I was meant to be working….) and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to boost energy levels! (Not coffee, my stomach HATES coffee 😣)

Has anyone checked your vitamin levels? I too struggle with fatigue and with the degree of damage seen on my biopsy it makes sense I am vitamin deficient. Currently I’m on Vyvanse for ADHD and I’m taking Saffron 2.0. I also take Omegas, B12 vitamins and vitamin d and a multi-vitamin. However, we know I may not be absorbing a lot of it so I’m getting a multi-vitamin IV infusion next week (my sister is a naturopath and just gives them to me, I think they are around $150 though?). I also got an iron infusion two weeks ago as my ferriten was really low but haven’t noticed a huge difference yet but am told it takes 3 weeks to really notice. I’m also in peri-menopause so hormones play a role there too. I guess that was a really long adhd round-about way of saying, I wonder if you have a vitamin deficiency contributing to your fatigue?

@Kiah Stephens so inspiring!
Length of reaction
Hi everyone! I had my first reaction in years 10 days ago now and my stomach is still feeling irritated and sore, my mood has been extremely low, and the fatigue has not been helping my mood or motivation. Just wondering how long symptoms like these typically last post-reaction and if anyone has any tips to ease symptoms?

I’m pretty new but I got glutened a few times. I find that Pepcid ac makes a big difference. I also got prescribed something for indigestion. I find when I get glutened I get really bad heartburn (amount many other things). I also get quite bad muscle cramps so take magnesium and electrolytes. Nothing helped with the fatigue tho. I just slept a lot and let things slide.
🧁 Tasty Tuesday: High-Protein S’mores Muffins
If you’re after something sweet but high in protein, you’re going to love these! These gluten-free s’mores muffins are chocolatey, fluffy, and feel like a treat… but they’re packed with protein, low in calories and OAT FREE as well! Perfect as a snack or dessert when you want something fun without blowing your calories for the day. 📊 Nutrition (per muffin): 161 calories | 12g protein Here's what you'll need (makes 8 muffins) 🛒 : - 2 scoops protein powder (I used Peak Supps Beef Isolate but any will work) - 2 ripe bananas - 30g cocoa powder - 1 tsp baking powder - 40g ground almonds - 2 large eggs - 20g honey - 40g mini marshmallows - 30g dark chocolate chips Make sure to check for “may contain” warnings! I used Sainsbury’s own-brand marshmallows and choc chips. Here's what to do👩‍🍳: 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan). 2. Blend the wet ingredients (bananas, eggs, honey). 3. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients (protein powder, cocoa, baking powder, almonds). 4. Combine wet and dry, then fold in 20g marshmallows and 15g chocolate chips. 5. Divide into 8 muffin cases. 6. Sprinkle the remaining marshmallows on top. 7. Bake for 12-14 minutes. 8. Melt the rest of the choc chips and drizzle on top to make it extra gooey✨ Love, Ella 🧡

I tried them today and even though I mixed up my baking powder container and my cornstarch 🤦🏻‍♀️ they turned out great, like brownies. For me, I think I’d put the marshmallows on a little more towards the end. I was thinking of trying it with applesauce too instead of bananas. I was totally going through the cupboards looking for chocolate today and these hit the spot.
💥Client Spotlight: 9lbs down in 10 weeks as a Newly Diagnosed Coeliac!
When this client joined us, it had only been 6 days since her coeliac diagnosis! She was overwhelmed, confused, and unsure what her new lifestyle was even meant to look like. She knew she wanted to feel better in her body. She knew she needed support. But between a demanding teaching job and gym anxiety, she had no idea where to start. Fast forward just 10 weeks, and she’s: ✅ Down 9lbs and visibly leaner ✅ Less bloated, less inflamed, and finally feeling like herself again ✅ Walking into the gym with confidence ✅ Building strong, sustainable habits that fit her life This isn’t just about weight loss. It’s about feeling empowered and in control of your body again! And learning how to live well with coeliac disease, instead of feeling like it’s running the show. A huge well done to her - we’re so proud of everything she’s achieved 🧡 If you're newly diagnosed and want to lose weight / bloating / inflammation, watch Phase 1 of the course. The most important first step is building the skills and healthy habits needed for a sustainable transformation! Once you can do these consistently, the results will flow easily ✨

So inspiring! And as a fellow teacher and newly diagnosed celiac this gives me hope!
Winter sickness
Has anyone have trouble getting sick or really bad sinus infections during winter? I've been trying to take normal vitamins and eating proper. However I've been almost getting sick every week then like a two week break then back again. Wondering if that's just a celiac thing or just something random😅

I get sick so much! I have thought it was having kids around but I’ve been sick twice this month and I’m the only one in my family who caught it. I’m hoping the iron infusion I got a few weeks ago will help.
