Naming the Voice That Keeps You Playing Small
If your inner critic had a name, what would you call it and what’s the biggest lie it keeps feeding you?”

😢The Anti-Depression Code: 10 Tough Truths That Actually Help
1. Do Hard Things On Purpose Choosing challenge strengthens your prefrontal cortex and builds long-term mental resilience. 2. Hurt Better: Pain isn’t optional—but your brain’s interpretation of it is. Meaning transforms suffering into growth. 3. Want Less: You’re not addicted to dopamine—you’re clinging to outdated thoughts. Reframe false needs. 4. Let Routines Rule: Structure frees up cognitive energy and anchors the mind in predictability and control. 5. Reject the Lie That You Have It Figured Out: Overcertainty kills curiosity—and curiosity is a cognitive antidote to despair. 6. Embrace Limits (Use Strategic, Healthy “No’s”): Boundaries protect cognitive bandwidth and prevent mental burnout. 7. View People as Wells, Not Pits: Others aren’t drains—they’re potential sources of feedback and strength if approached with open cognition. 8. Sleep Like Your Sanity Depends On It (It Does): Sleep isn’t passive—it’s prefrontal maintenance that stabilizes thought and mood. 9. Reframe the Meaning of Struggle: Struggle becomes suffering when left unexplored. Reframing creates containers for pain. 10. Don’t Feel Your Way Forward—Think Your Way Through: Feelings are outputs. Clear thinking rewires your emotional landscape. 🎧Catch the audio discussion here: https://x.com/therapy_bites/status/1925598179342290985?s=46

Is there a way you can send this to me on twitter so I can retweet it and promote mental health awareness?
Dream On
Most of us try and decipher why we might dream what we do. But I’ve always wondered, while dreams may be based on past experiences, are they also giving us a taste of afterlife? To me, there seems to be a clarity I don’t experience in life. And I don’t mean clarity in that they make sense but the sharpness of the feelings I have in the dream. Whether it’s a good dream or bad, the intensity is beyond what I have known in my life. Just wondering about your thoughts @Dr. Heath and all on this subject.

That would be awesome! I actually do dream interpretations. Not usually on my own spaces unless someone asks but there are quite a few i participate in. I can give you references to back up my claim. @Kim Brough if youre on X add me @captradiator89c
Insurance and Murder
I just listened to this. My thoughts when Brian Thompson was killed remain the same. I think we all have had battles with insurance companies and I’m sure there is a lot of fraud we don’t even know about but bottom line, a man’s life was taken. There was very little talk about that and more about insurance companies. I understand this case involves that but picture the first family holiday with Brian’s wife and sons looking at that empty chair. TMR said it best. We don’t get to decide when someone leaves this earth. And like you indicated, @Dr. Heath, are we going to start taking out everyone who we think may be a threat in some way? I was a little taken aback that there weren’t more people crucifying this murder and I felt that way when it happened as well. Very little was said about this man just walking down the street to the end of his life. Frankly, that makes me question humanity. Just my opinion on this tragedy.

What About Your Mental Compass 🧭
Emotions aren’t compasses for decision-making but alerts that a decision is needed. Emotions don’t point out a pathway as they have no arms and legs. They simply call our attention to the importance of deciding a path.

Nothing has resonated inside my soul as much as this. Dont let temporary emotions make permanent decisions. How do we regulate our decisions between emotion and logic?
