30 Ways: Local Chamber of Commerce
Chamber of Commerce are not stuffy networking clubs. They’re literal rooms full of business owners who already pay to grow. If someone is: - Paying chamber dues - Showing up to mixers or breakfasts - Attending workshops They’re not looking for friends. They’re looking for clients and solutions. This module walks through: - How to prepare - What to ask so people tell you where they’re overwhelmed - How to use Chamber member lists without spamming anyone If you’ve been avoiding in-person stuff because it “feels awkward,” this will change how you see it. Local + trusted + human still wins. Module #2 is open. ------------------ 30 Ways 30 Days breaks down 30 non-obvious ways to find high-quality VA clients without job boards or freelance platforms. Each day unlocks one strategy used by operators to identify businesses with real budgets, real systems, and real demand for support. You’ll learn how to spot buying signals, approach clients strategically, and position yourself as a professional solution, not a task taker. Designed for VAs who want better clients and are not afraid to do the work to get them.

❤️ NEW: Classroom - 30 ways to find clients 👀
Hello Ladies! I just opened a new classroom that lists 30 non-obvious ways to find clients. It's called 30 Ways 30 Days. One 'idea' will open each day over the next 30 days. The goal IS NOT to do all 30 at once [or at all]. Your goal is to: - Read the signal - Understand the pressure - See how delegation becomes inevitable A small group of us were on a call and we got to talking about unconventional online and offline ways to find clients that most people never consider. I wrote them down, then after the call I used AI to help expand the ideas and map them to specific websites and real-world signals, to show how far outside the box you actually have to think. The list is split into about half online & offline ways to find clients. You'll find ideas to look in places where : - Businesses already spending money - Founders scaling faster than their systems - Visibility without backend support If you’ve ever felt like: - “Everyone’s competing for the same clients” - “I know businesses need help but don’t know where to look” - “I want better clients, not more rejection” This classroom will change how you see client acquisition. It’s not about doing more. It’s about seeing differently. Do you have an 'unconventional' client acquisition hack? Let me know so we can add it! 💫 Chastity

Client Ghosting Me
I recently had a potential client reach out through my website’s contact form. She mentioned that she had three businesses needing assistance and said she could afford my pay structure. I replied with an introductory email thanking her for reaching out, explaining some of my services, and asking for a few dates and times that would work for a call. That was last Sunday. Over the weekend, we had a snowstorm here in Tennessee, so on Monday I sent a follow-up email checking in on her and her family, offering help if needed. Still no reply. On Wednesday, I sent a quick text to confirm she’d received my emails and included my booking link so she could easily schedule a time that worked best. Then on Thursday, I called and left her a voicemail. On Friday, I tried again, but her voicemail box was full. Has anyone else had a client reach out through their website, show strong initial interest, and then completely stop responding to email, calls, or texts? According to ChatGPT, I should just leave it. Don’t worry about it until Thursday of this week. Send her a final email to let her know when and if she is still interested, she can reach out that I will be here for her and provide my contact information.

"Has anyone else had a client reach out through their website, show strong initial interest, and then completely stop responding to email, calls, or texts?' ALL.THE.TIME. And I have a couple of non proven beliefs about why. 1. They get sticker shock. Even if you haven't provided a quote yet. When they see your follow up and professionalism there's this weird trigger that says "Whoa She's a professional and I may not be able to afford her." 2. They're connection shopping. 3. They're stuck in their own head about what they will have the service provider do. 4. They're very very very busy and not organized. My only advice is to stick to your standard process, don't get attached [I tend to get into my feelings about it], staying professional ofc and moving on to the next. I also take this as a HUGE ORANGE FLAG. You already know that onboarding a new client can be a little nuty if the client isn't organized. So if things were to work out and you took her on, understand there's a good chance history repeats itself here.
