Executive Dysfunction (The "Can't Get Sh*t Done Disease")
If you have Executive Dysfunction, which means you struggle to get work started and tend to put things off or find distractions to occupy yourself with activities that aren't the things that need to be done, you're not alone. Executive Dysfunction impacts a lot of entrepreneurs, high-level executives, etc. (though also those with chronic anxiety and/or clinical depression are extremely susceptible, of course, but that's a bit different). It makes things hard, but our bodies are programmed to keep ourselves feeling "safe" and, in this case, "comfortable." You need to embrace the discomfort and power through. Come up with a process or a "ritual," if you will, that will get you going. As soon as you break that barrier, everything starts to flow out, which often results in nonstop productivity. It's up to us to find out what triggers us to either become dysfunctional or trigger us to get the work and initiative finally started. (Though, I do highly recommend going to a therapist to find out what's holding you back to make that journey easier and less difficult.) It also comes from burnout, so if you don't have Executive Dysfunction, it can easily surface from working too much, too often. It'll eventually rear its ugly head if you take it too far, which results in a massive setback. The overall message here is to take care of yourself and look in—to project your value and knowledge/service out to others. To push yourself forward without causing more damage and to understand yourself at a level where you can control these unconscious impulses and roadblocks.

Starting a new group soon, its called: "get your shit done!" Using Body Doubling, Embodiment and ACT. You can bring your real life problems like mail, books, paperwork, ... and test different methods every week if they work for you and try to implement them in daily life.
What gets you in the zone to create content?
Some days I’m fired up with ideas and can’t wait to hit record. Other days? I couldn’t be bothered—zero motivation BUT! What helps me snap into creation mode: - A quick breathwork session - A solid workout - Or some EFT tapping to shift my state and boost my energy ⚡️ And most importantly… remembering the impact and connecting to my "WHY". What if something I say today helps someone feel seen? Or even shifts their entire life? That said, if I’m in a low vibe and just can’t shake it, I don’t force it.Because energy is everything—and people can feel when it’s off. Curious—what gets you in the zone to create? Let me know your rituals, mindset hacks, or non-negotiables

Hi, I am Britta from Germany. I offer therapy for adhd and other neurodiverse folks using Embodiment, ACT and creative methods. I also organize a free adhd-picnic now and then to build a local community. Rest of the time you can find me with my kids, my cats or my friends. Also love to be in nature (working in the garden, Camping, swimming or hiking). Nice to be here!
