2nd Edition
Does anyone know when the 2nd edition version of "Self-Publish and Succeed" is supposed to ship out to us if we purchased it for the summit?

@Julie Broad Perfect. Thank you Julie. I just sent an email earlier today.
Don’t Write the Wrong Book. Write the One That Sells.
It's on and you're invited! Most authors start writing too soon. They have an idea, they’re excited, and they start typing…without ever thinking about the hook, the reader, or what makes their book worth buying. That’s how great ideas become books that nobody reads. The Self-Publish and Succeed Summit (Nov 13–15) is where you fix that — before you write another word. Over three workshop-style days, you’ll work with me and the Book Launchers team to: - Create a hook that grabs attention (and sales) - Build an outline that sets your expertise apart - Design a publishing path that grows your business, not just your book count It’s hands-on, no-fluff, and maybe a little uncomfortable — because I’ll make you think like a marketer before you ever write like an author. Your $20 ticket gets you: 📘 The brand-new Self-Publish and Succeed (2nd Edition) 💻 Access to all 3 live days + replays 🎁 Entry for prizes, coaching, and #NoBoringBooks swag Grab your spot now Let’s make sure your book isn’t just written — it’s wanted. Hope to see you there!

@Julie Broad when do we get the book? :)
2nd Editions Question
When creating a second edition for your book, what's the process of keeping all the reviews you've worked hard for for the 1st edition? My book needs a massive update and I know it will be more than 10% of what Amazon allows...so it's going to have to be a second edition. @Julie Broad do you cover this topic in your 2nd edition book of Self-Publish and Succeed? And more? If so looking forward to reading it.

I'll check it out. Thank you!
The publishing journey
I completed my first book in September 2025. Just secured my editor in November as well as a cover designer. What a learning curve to the publishing world. I am blessed to have found the prior editor of the Chicago Tribune as my advocate. I am a retired social worker, educator, and pastor's wife. The title to my book is: Grace in the Cracks, A Southern Girl's Tale of Wild Faith and Reckless Redemption.

Love the title!
Which Title Do You Like?
The topic: the need for organizations to bring in, appreciate, and leverage divergent points of view. The term I use for describing a person, team, or organization that has all of the styles is “playing with a full deck.” It’s a play on the term, “not playing with a full deck.” I want a title that is cheeky and controversial. One of my books is called “Best Practices Are Stupid.” People still quote the title 15 years after its publication. After reading the manuscript, many have used the “full deck” term when they realized they or their team/company were missing people they needed. The original title was considered too in-your-face: You’re Not Playing with a Full Deck. So I am considering “softer” titles. One point: This book repositions the card game on which it is based—Personality Poker—to be less personality focused and more on collaboration culture, and innovation. With that as background, here are the alternative titles I am considering. Which number do you like best? 1. Are You Playing With a Full Deck? (the current version) 2. Is Your Organization Playing With a Full Deck? 3. Is Your Culture Playing With a Full Deck? 4. The Power of Playing With a Full Deck Thanks!

I like 4. It's straight to the point. But your subtitle will need to clarify it a bit and throw in some keywords for searchability.
