7 lessons ‘old people’ talk about that are life hacks for any age
If you could pick one to put on a billboard, which one would you pick? 1. "Be nice to everybody you meet on the way up the ladder. You'll see the same faces on the way down." 2. "It's never the wrong time to do the right thing." 3. "It's easier to STAY out of trouble than GET out of trouble." 4. "The windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror for a reason." 5. "Whenever it feels like an argument is brewing, ask yourself, is this the hill I want to die on?" 6. "You have two lives to live: the second begins when you realize you only have one." 7. "When you're worried about what other people are thinking about you, keep in mind that they aren't." https://www.good.is/7-lessons-old-people-talk-about-that-are-life-hacks-for-any-age-ex1

IQ and technical expertise may get you in the door, but EQ determines how far you go. In leadership moments. Whether coaching a teammate, handling conflict, or inspiring change — EQ shapes the outcome. Today’s challenge: recognize where you shine in EQ and where you need to grow. 💬 Your Turn: Which EQ skill is your superpower right now, and which needs a tune-up? Comment below! 🔗 Read the article on HBR

My superpower is self-regulation. I am a disciplined person. I believe in first steps first. There is no shortcut to success. It has always been that “hard work “ makes you better at what you do as long as you correct the things that you are doing wrong. That is how it works. So, that’s my self-regulation protocol.
