wins-eating meals outside whenever possible, morning sun stuck-food plan that resonates with me goal-lower screentime
What are you really afraid of?
What am I afraid might happen if I actually succeed at losing the weight?

I have to admit, one of my biggest fears about succeeding at weight loss is whether I’ll be able to maintain it and still stay happily married to my husband. It’s tough to say, but it’s my truth. I’m not blaming him for my own struggles with resisting the junk food he brings home, or for the way he always seems to suggest pizza for dinner just when I’m trying to make healthier choices. And don’t even get me started on how often he checks the kitchen to make sure I’m not preparing any of my healthy meals for him, too. Even when I go out of my way to make something different for him, he can’t help but make comments like, “Ew, what is that?” about the healthier meals I’m actually proud of. Sometimes, I think he means well, but other times, it feels like he just doesn’t understand how challenging it is for me to face the constant, subtle sabotage of junk food temptations. It can feel manipulative and discouraging. What really gets to me is when he tries to micromanage my efforts or undermine my intelligence-bragging about his step count, reminding me that he’s always been a small eater, or criticizing how much food I put on my plate (even when it’s mostly veggies). He even comments on how fast I eat, especially if I finish before him. But you know what? Having this safe space to vent is actually firing me up with a new sense of determination! I can do this. I will find ways to manage the things that frustrate me. I can do things like @Cindy Legare suggests by designating a high shelf just for his junk food, so it’s not directly in my line of sight every time I open the cupboard. And for anything I can’t change, I’ll find ways to remove myself from the situation or set boundaries. If all else fails, I’m not afraid to speak up and tell him to shut the F up. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. I will succeed!

@Heidi Henderson very inspiring
Upping my protein
I need ideas for upping my protein, especially for breakfast. Other than eggs, I do like and dont thonk i have an issue with cottage cheese and yogurt. But I'm unclear as to dairy aggravating inflammation. What about cheese?
What if?
If I woke up tomorrow at my ideal weight and health, what would I do differently in my day?

I watched the reply today and just want to say how much I enjoyed it. I will plan on joining you this coming Sunday. Key takeaway for me was discussion about the benefits of protein and our built-in no brainer measurement system for all macros. Very enlightening! I definitely have not been eating enough.
