Great autumn outfit, there is class in your combination of textures and colours 👍✅
The reason
My wife has been loving the changes I've made this year, but yesterday we went to have lunch at an outdoor casual restaurant and she thought I'd just throw on a t-shirt and sneakers but I took a couple of extra minutes to make sure I was still looking the best I could with a casual sweater, boots and watch. While we ate, she asked me, "why put the extra effort in today, it's just lunch? I though you don't care what other people think." I thought about it for a bit and responded in a way that actually surprised me. I guess my year of growth has taught me a lot. I said, "It's not about what other people think. Dressing like a grown man not only makes me feel good, but it also does a lot more than that. When someone sees that I paid attention to every detail of my outfit and look, they realize that I have a certain level of respect for myself. "More importantly, they also can see that I have set a bar for the respect I expect from them. You see, if I disrespect myself enough to throw on a shirt with a hole on it or a sloppy outfit, other people see that as the low bar they have to meet when interacting with me. Who cares what they think. But the way I take care of myself now I don't have tell them to treat me with respect, because they already know. " At that moment she understood that it's not just about clothes and style. It's about a lot more than that. What about you guys? Did you have any " Aha " moments during this journey?

In my opinion, you gave an excellent answer to the question received. An answer to keep in mind every time you open your closet and decide what to wear. Personally, your words have also led me to reflect and ask myself the same question that was asked of you. I agree with every single word, also for me, in addition to being a way to take care of myself, my appearance and my self-esteem, dressing well is a sign of respect for my wife, my family and the people I love, I believe that every woman enjoys having a charming and desirable man by her side. Have you noticed how often you see such poorly assorted couples? Well-kept women, well dressed and with matching accessories, accompanied by men in shorts and flip-flops? So up, our women don't deserve this, the least we can do is try to always be at our best, for her and for ourselves. It is also true that a book is not judged by the cover, but a captivating graphic, an excellent layout, a binding and quality paper, already makes you understand that that book is a precious or perhaps limited edition. So let's always give ourselves the right importance and value, as you say not for others, but for ourselves and for the people we love.
