I haven’t shared some news in the midst of our travels. The night we got home from Aruba with only three hours sleep the night before, we got a message that one of my students, a kid whom I was his senior year homeschool director, and his 10 year old confirmation mentor was killed in a motorcycle accident. The family asked that I speak at his celebration of life but since the family was coming in from all over the US they wanted to do it today. They have been a very special family to Anita and I, so of course we brought two cars so the kids can stay at the resort while we drive the 3.5 hours back a day early.
