Leaked strategy paper from OpenAI
Here are my key takeaways. OpenAI isn’t building a product. They’re building a platform. The internal memo outlining the ChatGPT strategy for 2025/26 makes one thing clear: It’s not about a better chatbot. Not about smarter answers. It's about a new operating system for humans. The plan: By 2026, ChatGPT is to become the interface for everything. It says: ā€œChatGPT will replace search engines, browsers, etc. step by step.ā€ āž”ļø Internet āž”ļø Communication āž”ļø Tools āž”ļø Decisions OpenAI never wanted to build a SaaS model. The Plus and Team subscriptions were never the goal, more of a side effect. According to the memo, even an obstacle. šŸ”“ Because they want to build something bigger. One analogy could be: They don’t want to just integrate into iOS or Android, they want to be like a new iPhone. That’s also why they acquired IO Products, they want to pursue a new path with their own device. They also express a direct fear of Apple, Google, Microsoft because they worry these companies will block them(by pushing their own AIs and shielding users). That’s why they want to build their own platform. Anything else makes them too dependent. What this means for software developers: ā• Your app may soon no longer need a user interface, just an API. ChatGPT will handle the rest. The key question for me: Which apps will survive this shift when the only access is through ChatGPT? One crucial line from the paper:šŸ”ŗ All human-computer interactions can run through ChatGPT. šŸ”ŗ (Or at least be orchestrated through it!) The way I see it now: OpenAI already has the users but not yet the platform. At their current development speed, it wouldn’t surprise meif the first signs appear with GPT-5 in August, and a year from now, everything looks completely different again.

Meditation, Presence, and the Fast Track of AI
Entrepreneurs are always looking for ways to move faster, grow smarter, and stay ahead. Ironically, one of the clearest and healthiest ways to actually get ahead—and stay sane—is through meditation. We know it reduces stress, sharpens performance, and keeps our physical, mental, and emotional health in check. But here's the real question for this group: How do you—@Michael Schwarz or any of you here—stay truly present when your mind is constantly jumping to how much better and faster things are getting with AI? How do you avoid cutting yourself out of the human side of ā€œplaying the gameā€ when everything around us is being optimized at lightning speed? Sometimes it feels like if you're not caught up, you're just an ant watching giants fly past. For me? I like cutting the grass the old-fashioned way. I get hot, sweaty, then drink a cold glass of lemonade and admire the yard. Would love to hear your thoughts. How do you balance being with building in the age of AI?

I meditate 30 min or more everyday after I wake up. Helped me a ton with stress and emotional balance I also try to have non screen moments, specially in my free time and before sleep time. That helps me unwind and practice focusing on one thing at a time.

Testing VEO3 - Created Funny Commercial for MyZone AI
Have you tried VEO 3 yet? This funny commercial... took me about 60-90m, mainly figuring out how it all works, but was mildly impressed? I see all these amazing VEO 3 clips all over the internet, but I think you really have to generate a TON of clips to get ones you really love. A bit expensive too... I think I spent around $75 in credits. So many bad videos had to be deleted. I used ChatGPT o3 model to develop the scripts for me. I'll be digging deeper into VEO 3 training - maybe I was doing something wrong, but according to the deep research that I did beforehand, I think I followed the best practices. Exported the video clips. Upscaled. Then merged through iMovie. I think Hollywood and video editing agencies have at least a few more months before they are in trouble ;)

On our way to Montreal… for AI. Or should I say IA? šŸ˜Ž
Me and Jeannette are about to take-off from Vancouver >> Monteal! Excited for the EO One Canada Conference! Also, we have 3 AI rountable events we are hosting. The first of 3 is https://myzone.ai/ai-summit-in-the-sky/ where we are hosting ~40 CEO’s/Entrepreneurs to talk about AI! We have put together a short presentation on ā€œWhat’s new with AIā€ and then will be doing moderated experience sharing, over a delicious lunch. From there, we stroll into the conference for 3 days, and on Tuesday and Wednesday Night, from 5-6pm we are hosting a similar, but shorter event (quick updates on what’s new, followed by moderated experience sharing). What’s new with AI? We’ll talk a bit about the impact of chatGPT connectors, VEO 3, the latest with 11 Labs, new AI pendants (Limitless), and all the new business automations that come out of that. Also the recent impacts on the job market, and predictions for what comes next. Looking forward to connecting with some of you in person this week… and we are missing our little man (11 year old son), and Labradoodle Gracie already :p
