Exploring Image Generation Possibilities with AI – Let’s Connect!
Hi everyone! I’m Andi Mortenson—Founder + Creative Director of Epic Branding & Design, a national agency specializing in high-performance branding and design in the sports world. I've led projects for national sports orgs, pro leagues, and major brands like TELUS, and I’m currently diving deep into how AI can elevate creativity in the design process. I gave a talk at the EO Okanagan event on image generation and creative tools—if you missed it or want a recap, you can check out a portion of the slides here: 👉 https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1dPjCTzOldtDZs9UzB9ZhQOH7M2P2ei2F6RAAfL1VRgI/edit?slide=id.p#slide=id.p I mentioned character creation - if you want to learn more, watch this video that helped me out: 🎥 https://youtu.be/k4dZBQ5d5Lo?si=asgQtjrLsn1XqIZW A few extra image gen tips that didn’t make it into the talk: Layer your prompts: Start with the core concept, then build in style, lighting, mood, and camera angle for more refined results. Think like a photographer: Frame your scene—foreground, midground, background. Reference your brand voice: For client work, grounding your visuals in brand tone and emotional cues can make AI feel less generic. Test variations quickly: Use batch generation to explore options before refining your best direction. Save prompts: When something works, note the exact prompt so you can iterate new versions with intention and save time. Excited to connect with more peeps using (or curious about) AI to push creative boundaries—feel free to DM me or follow @epicbrandingdesign on Instagram to see this in action. Let’s build something cool together ⚡️ Next up for my learning and experimentation: video avatars of my characters, with audio! 👊
