Let’s help more parents understand their children 👇
Yesterday, I had a phone call with @Marco Sebastian (my 17 year old brother). We talked about why it’s so hard for his friends and peers to open up to their parents about what’s troubling them. He said something that stuck with me: “When we do talk about something, it’s just a hint or a side comment. We’re scared our parents will either dismiss it or immediately hand it over to someone else (a psychologist, therapist) just to avoid dealing with it themselves.” TWO TYPES OF PARENTS: - Parents who dismiss the issues and say things like, “When I was in your age, we didn’t have time for nonsense like this.” or, “These pseudo-problems doesn't exists.” - Parents who are aware of mental health issues but skip the conversation and send their child straight to a professional without first trying to listen -> understand -> help as a buddy. Both approaches share one thing in common: The child ends up feeling alone and retreats further into themselves. Our community offers parents a different path. We teach how to recognize the subtle signs that children want to talk and how to be the kind of parent they feel safe opening up to, even about topics that seem confusing or uncomfortable, like discussing suicide. If you know parents searching for a way to connect with their children, invite them here. This community is for anyone who wants to be a true source of support. A quick reminder: By engaging in this group, you unlock rewards as you level up. For example, I usually charge €200/hour for a 1-2-1 online consultation, which you can unlock at level 5 for free. At level 7, you become a full member of what we call the Payout Club. The first five people to reach this level will become co-owners (moderators) of the community and will share a portion of its revenue. This can be our shared journey. Not only to do something meaningful, but to build financial stability together 🙏
