This is a stylized JRPG VFX role — your portfolio must lead with expressive, stylized real-time effects (combat hits, magic spells, environmental atmosphere, cutscene polish) rather than photorealistic or military-style VFX. Niagara proficiency is explicitly required — demonstrate particle system work, flipbook animation, and emitter design in UE5 specifically. A genuine love of JRPGs is an explicit bonus — if Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy shaped you as a developer, say so clearly in your application.
