One small win for momkind...
My girls and I went sledding yesterday and after the sky had pissed ice on us for 24 hours straight the sledding was more like flying down the hill like Clark Griswold until losing control and slamming violently against a wall of ice which of course we did repeatedly because my five year old thought it was the best experience of her life... The bruises going down the side of my left leg and ass and my right knee from being the human buffer in between my kids bodies and the ice wall are reminding me why my husband is the fun parent. BUT despite my self-induced suffering and the fact that I feel 97 years old I lifted weights, got almost 10k steps, and counted my calories instead of binging a kdrama while eating cereal out of a mixing bowl which is how the me of 7 months ago would have handled today...😁

The amount of detail and description about this sledding adventure is epic lol. But the best part is hearing you still stuck to your lifting, meals, and steps! Hello super mom!!
Finally getting to my intro
Hi everyone, I'm Amanda and I'm from Southern California. Main fitness goal is to build back up from having my first child and potentially preparing for a second. I used to run a ton and got very nice and lean from that lifestyle but that all ended when I was in a car accident which led to a ton of pain. I always tried to pick up where I left off but I'd always reinjure myself. I finally got around to hiring a personal trainer (something I never thought I'd do nor spend money on) and now just need the community to help me push through to build out this new lifestyle. Last meal oh man this answer would probably change everyday but currently really craving some good dipping ramen.
