Aged Egg Nog!
Yes! Life has finally slowed down enough for me to try my 1-year-old aged egg nog. YUM!!! I worked SO hard to: 1. not drink this sooner (or not have friends drink this sooner) and 2. to keep it refrigerated since last December... (I had some definite hurdles in doing so!) This large jar was full when I decided to age it and, despite my best efforts, it's been reduced nearly halfway by my nog-hunting friends... (test subjects if you {against my} will). This is the second of only two 12 oz (esh) servings I've been allotted. (Meaning what I was able to keep out of their hands). They were right tho. It's good...damn good. I need to make next year's nog ASAP I

Welcome!
Grassy Island
It's been awhile since I've posted here; my life has been on fast-forward. That said, I'm still interested in oregano liqueur and have found the following recipe to be delicious: 2 Tequila 1 Lime Juice 1 Oregano Liqueur 1 Banana Liqueur To make the oregano liqueur, steap one jar of oregano in 400g of 95% grain alcohol for 2 weeks. Then strain and add 1000g of 2-water-to-1-sugar syrup. Adjust syrup to taste. This cocktail is fire. I think it's good enough to warrant making the liqueur. That said, there are other flavors that pair well with oregano: mango, blackberry, raspberry, and triple sec. I find rhum agricole or cachaca also pairs well with oregano.

I love throwing in banana liqueur to throw people off!
The Lemon Peel
Recipe found on Difford Guide Sage is growing faster than we can use, even in the cooler weather. Sure the ask for a sprig of sage for the garnish was likely 2-3 leaves, but I decided to go overboard. 😂 The libation is exactly as the name implies. A tart, layered citrus flavours from pith, oil, juices. Spiced with gin, mint and vanilla beans. Though the sage adds aroma near the end it had imparted some flavour to the cocktail. A very refreshing drink 😋 The Lemon Peel 1.5 oz (45ml) Dry Gin ½ oz (15ml) Limoncello ¼ oz (7.5ml) Liquore Strega ¾ oz (22.5ml) Grapefruit Juice ¾ oz (22.5ml) Fresh Lemon Juice ¼ oz (7.5ml) Rich Simple Syrup 1 dash Orange Bitters Garnish Sage Sprig

UPDATE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Hey there, friends! I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to share some news with you. As some of you might know, it used to cost me $99 a month to keep this wonderful community running. Thankfully, a few of you have been super supportive on Patreon, which made a huge difference! This week, Skool rolled out a new plan that’s just $9 a month, and I’m really excited about it! This change will help us keep our community free while significantly lowering costs. It does mean we’ll lose some of the perks that come with the Pro community, but for me, that’s totally okay. After all, $9 is way better than $99! At some point, I might think about starting a second community that includes all the Pro perks, but for now, I’m just pleased with this upgrade from Skool. Just so you know, nothing will change for you, so there’s no need to worry. I just wanted to keep you in the loop! On another note, I’m transitioning away from the hospitality industry, which means I’ll have more time to spend with all of you and focus on my YouTube channels. Exciting times are ahead after a long journey! Can’t wait to share more updates with you soon! Take care! Love you all 🧡 Georgi

To confirm: You lose some perks but the community stays the same on our end? Is there any way we can improve or rework those lost perks on the front end or were they not necessarily useful anyway?

@Georgi Petrov ok, not too shabby. Can't help with the cost on url and definitely not tch savvy enough to back end alter your community html 😂 (and probably violate their terms and conditions in the process 🫣). It was worth a gander though I suppose lol
