Catching up
The last two weeks have been extremely busy—travel out of town for a family funeral + time-consuming project at my 9-5. Needless to say, I’ve fallen off big time. My plan is to get back on track later this week. I need to get through Wednesday (my birthday and a project launch at the 9-5) then I’ll have time to focus back on THRIVE Consulting. In other exciting news, tonight is the first live call for my She Thrives Collective community. And, I’m writing a book! 🙌🏾

@Dwight Riddick Thanks for the push and the encouragement! I had a book consultation with Natasha at iPress Publishing. The schedule is aggressive but I’m excited (and also want to throw up I’m so nervous. LOL) My She Thrives Collective conversation didn’t go so well. My mom was the only one who showed up and then one other woman right before we were ending the call. So, I’m praying about what to do next. Not giving up but recognizing I may need to pivot.

Day 6 – Build Your Community
it’s the weekend, this is where playmakers WIN! We are on all gas no brakes or breaks!!! So with some extra time before you rest and get some good weekend entertainment RECAP DAYS 1-5 and work on today, DAY 6! Today’s Goal: 1. Name Your Community – Give them an identity that makes them proud. 2. Choose a Meeting Place – Create a space where your VIPs can gather, talk to each other, and hear from you regularly. 3. Decide How They Join – Free, paid, or exclusive to your paying clients. My Coaching Advice: A strong community gives your VIPs a sense of belonging — and keeps them coming back. People don’t just buy your product or service; they buy into your movement. Imagine this: every time you speak, the entire audience joins your community. You stay connected long after the event ends, and you have a ready-made audience for future training, events, coaching, and offers. This is how you create predictable impact and income. - Free communities work best for visibility, nurturing leads, and building trust. - Paid communities (or membership groups) allow you to provide exclusive content and deeper support while earning recurring revenue. - Client-only communities can keep your paying customers engaged and supported — turning buyers into long-term brand advocates. Your job is to create a space where your VIPs can learn, engage, and grow — together. Practical Exercise: 📝 Community Builder Action Steps 1. Choose a Name: Give your community a name that inspires pride and identity (e.g., “Playmakers,” “Trailblazers,” “Rise & Rest Society”). 2. Clarify Your Why: Write one sentence describing why this community exists and the transformation members will experience. 3. Pick Your Platform: Choose one — Facebook, GroupMe, WhatsApp, SKOOL, Discord — wherever your VIPs are most active. 4. Decide Access: Free, paid, or exclusive for paying clients? Make the decision today. 5. Draft Your First Post: Craft a warm welcome message that introduces yourself, sets the tone, and invites interaction.

My community is called She Thrives Collective. It’s a membership community for $27/month. I launched last week and so far my only subscribers are my mom and sister-in-law. 😂 I sent an email to my email list yesterday and I’m prioritizing personal reach outs this week.
