Two new City Rhythm scents - Savannah and DC
City Rhythm is now taking preorders for two new fragrances being added to their regular lineup. Savannah - another peach-forward scent to add to the growing list of peach fragrances being released to the market this year. Top Notes: Sun Ripened Georgia Peach, Ruby Grapefruit Zest Heart Notes: Tropical Fruit Nectar, Southern Jasmine, Ripe Red Berry Accord Base Notes: Soft Amber, White Suede, Silk Musk I feel like I already have a peach scent with Imaginary Authors, so I will probably pass on this one for now. The other notes don't really appeal to me, either. I'll wait for the reviews on this. DC - Fruity florals with pear and cherry leading the way. Top Notes: Anjou Pear, Pink Pepper, Wild Cherry, Sakura Petals Heart Notes: White Magnolia, Star Jasmine Base Notes: Red Amber, Ivory Cedarwood, Vanilla Silk I don't know. It's not wowing me. I might pick it up if it gets high reviews, but I'm not a big Jasmine fan. This one is a definite sample / decant first for me.

@Lon Chaneyfield sadly, I’ve been waiting ages for jaspers & sapphires reformulation! I know he’s probably busy with new bottles co & the newfound attention Prisma is getting. But my shelf feels like it’s missing two colors 😢. Issac should definetly do a double release of sapphire & jasper to rival CR’s new drops. Or work on more feminine fragrances to expand is market. I do think that Issac has a better interpretation of some of CR’s more popular stuff, but CR has been blowing my mind with some of their newer formulations. It’s kind of a quality vs quantity situation. I think that Issac is bad about keeping hype, whereas Nile’s is always trying to do something new/different, which keeps them more popular than Prisma. Both are amazing brands & have incredible people running things behind the scenes.
SOTD: Prisma Aquamarine
Came with my recent Prisma order. First off, the 11 ML decant comes in a nice bottle with a pressurized atomizer. The scent opens just as the name would imply with an aquatic profile. Starts with lemon and bergamot followed quickly by some hedione and tarragon which I’m guessing give it the aquatic profile. In the base it’s got ambroxan, iso e super and benzoin. Overall projection is good, didn’t go heavy on the sprays and I’m still getting about 1-2 feet. No idea of longevity yet. Will update once I know. Hoping for 6 hours or more. ***Update: Longevity was just over 6 hours. So as expected for an aquatic.

@Blake Merl Don’t know what it consists of, but it’s supposed to boost projection under direct sunlight or during movement. I wonder what it smells like isolated.
