🦐 High-Protein Shrimp & Cabbage Egg Pancake
Sometimes the best recipes are the easiest ones. 🙌 This meal takes just a few minutes to throw together and is packed with protein while sneaking in plenty of veggies. Since I’ve been busy with my parents MD appointments I have little time and need to make something quick and easy. 🥣 Ingredients: • 132g minced shrimp • 4 whole eggs • 300g liquid egg whites • 390g pre-shredded cabbage & carrots (I buy the bagged coleslaw mix to save time!) • Fish sauce to taste • Avocado oil spray 👩🏻‍🍳 Directions: 1️⃣ Mince the shrimp and set aside. 2️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and egg whites. 3️⃣ Add fish sauce and mix well. 4️⃣ Fold in the minced shrimp. 5️⃣ Rinse and drain the bagged cabbage mix. (I always give it a quick rinse.) 6️⃣ Mix everything together. 7️⃣ Spray your pan with avocado oil and cook over medium heat until golden. Flip carefully and cook the other side until the eggs are fully set. 💡 Meal Prep Tip: Slice it into portions and enjoy it throughout the week for breakfast, lunch, or a quick high-protein snack. 📊 MyFitnessPal Recipe ➡️ 7 servings 🔥 98 calories per serving 💪 High protein + lots of volume from the cabbage! Sometimes convenience wins. Buying pre-cut vegetables means I spend less time chopping and more time actually enjoying healthy meals. Consistency doesn’t have to be complicated. ❤️

@Ramona Eckenstein yes, it looks so much like tortilla española
Food tracking
It's rater difficult for me. I know what I have to do, but sometimes living it is another story. Last week I started again to track my food seriously. I knew I was eating to luch calories because my weight either stayed or increased. Turns out I was eating like 200 to 300 kcl per day more than I should for losing weight. I'll focus on my mealprep and tracking my food properly to lose the weight I want. For me its a tiny win to understand this better and knowing how to go forward. Will there be difficult days? Yes, but as I learned. One the is not the end.

Yes tracking can be a pain. But I found it to be the easiest when I meal prep my own meals and know exactly what goes into each meal. Super easy to track compared to guessing what is exactly in a meal that I have when eating out.
🍓 Costco Snack Find = Approved! 🙌
If you’re looking for a simple snack to keep on hand, I’ve really been enjoying these Solely Organic Fruit Jerky packs from Costco. ✅ Made with real fruit ✅ No sugar added ✅ No artificial ingredients ✅ Great for satisfying those sweet cravings 🍓🥭 I packed these on our camping trip, and they were a huge hit! They’re easy to toss in your gym bag, hiking pack, work bag, or keep in the car for those busy days. 💡 Parents: These also make a great lunchbox snack for your kids. It’s an easy way to pack something made with simple ingredients instead of reaching for candy or heavily processed fruit snacks. One of my favorite things is that it satisfies my sweet tooth without leaving me wanting more. 🌶️ Pro tip: Whole Foods carries the Chili Mango + Salt flavor, and it’s one of my favorites if you like a little sweet, salty, and spicy combo. 🤤 Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Finding snacks you genuinely enjoy makes consistency so much easier. What’s your go-to healthy snack when you’re craving something sweet? I’d love to hear your recommendations! 🍎🍇🍌

Nice! I love to have protein ice cream that I make with my Ninja Creami on hand to eat when I’m craving something sweet. Helps me to hit my protein goals and satisfies my sweet cravings. I also love having any of the chocolates from ChocZero, which can be ordered online. Lower in calories but super high in fiber which helps me to quickly meet my daily fiber goals.

@Usra Shah yes, when you make it yourself, especially if you use a protein shake or powder, the macros turn out great. It’s basically a frozen protein drink that satisfies like ice cream .
❤️ Grief, Food & Starting Again Tomorrow ❤️
Today was my uncle's vigil and prayer gathering. 🤲❤️ It was one of those days where family comes together, prayers are said, stories are shared, and, as always, there's plenty of food. We all made dishes to share, and this morning I told myself I was going to enjoy the day while still staying mindful. I planned ahead and made sure I had enough calories available for the main meal. ✅ Everything was going to plan... Then dessert came out. 🍰 I had a little, and I was still around maintenance. Then my sisters started bringing out the sweets and crisps. 🍬🍫🥔 One handful turned into another... and then another. Later in the evening, pizzas were ordered. 🍕 Before I knew it, I'd completely lost control. If I'm being completely honest, it turned into a full-on binge. Right now I feel bloated, uncomfortable, and very ashamed of myself. 😔 One thing about me is that I always own up to my mistakes, and this is no different. I messed up. And that's on me. But I also know that sitting in shame won't change what happened. What will make a difference is what I choose to do tomorrow. So tomorrow I'll get back to my normal meals, hit my protein, drink plenty of water, get my steps in, and keep moving forward. 💪💧🚶‍♀️ This doesn't erase the months of consistency and progress I've worked so hard for. It's one difficult day during one of the hardest weeks of my life. Tomorrow counts. And I'll make sure it does. ❤️🙏

Don’t beat yourself up! One day of over eating won’t unravel all the other good days that you’ve had so far. Like you said, just get back to your normal routine and you’ll Be fine.

When @Jared Nation came to us, it wasn't only about fat loss and building muscle. He wanted to be there for his kids and his grandkids later on. He expressed that he wanted to do things he loved doing for a long time. He lacked knowledge around nutrition. He struggled with consistency. He was always tired after work. He was 197 lbs. at 49 years old. 🔥 He's dropped 41 lbs. 🔥 Lost a significant amount of visceral fat (dangerous fat) 🔥 Feels way more energetic and optimistic about the next few decades! And yes, he understands that his training needs to ramp up a bit to put on more muscle 💪 It does get tougher as we age, but it is 100% possible. We are all a work in progress. And Jared has been WORKING! Super proud of you, bro! Shoutout Coach @Tyler Lo for the awesome support on his journey! If you're curious about how we helped him, comment SIMPLE and I can send you a YouTube video of the system we used. You are worthy too of a healthy body!
