Which “small detail” matters most for you?
Most guys don’t lose points because of big mistakes… they lose points because of one tiny detail that quietly screams “I didn’t finish the job.” If you had to pick one detail that makes (or breaks) the whole look, what matters most? Vote - and drop in the comments why you chose it. Bonus: if you’ve ever been called out on one of these, tell us which one got you.

In my opinion the smallest details matter the most and it’s just a thing that also annoys me when my collar doesn’t look right. Though I’ll have to agree on the point that a wrongly hemmed pair of pants will completely ruin the look when someone look down.

@Joe Honeycutt Yes, I know about them, I’m rather talking about when for example the folding isn’t right or I just can’t get a button down to stand right under a quarter zip.
Cleaning leather shoes/boots
I got my first ever pair of leather chelseas in early December, and I have used them quite a bit since then. They of course also got dirtier and dirtier and now I decided it’s time to finally clean them. Have you, gentlemen got any tips for me on how to clean leather shoes without harming them?
Last Year’s Wins 🎉 This Year’s Focus 🎯
Gents, before we move too far into 2026, I want you to pause and look back intentionally. 1️⃣ Last Year Wins What’s 1–3 wins from last year you’re proud of? Doesn’t have to be massive. Progress counts — consistency, discipline, better decisions. Style upgrade you stuck with? A fragrance you finally made your signature? A watch milestone, collection refinement, or learning moment? A habit you strengthened, a distraction you cut, or a standard you raised 2️⃣ This Year’s Focus What’s 1–2 goals you’re deliberately committing to this year - not wishing for, but committing to? Could be... Sharpening your personal style as a form of self-respect Building a tighter, more intentional fragrance rotation Becoming more educated, patient, and disciplined with watches Showing up with more consistency - physically, mentally, and professionally Raising your standards in how you present yourself to the world Drop your wins and your focus below. Let’s build on what worked. And cut what didn’t!

Shipping from LG is an education in multiple personality disorder. Jan 9 @5am: your washer and dryer arrive today! Jan 9 @ 9am: Sorry, that was meant for your local delivery vendor, not you. Jan 11 @ 8pm (from independent delivery team): we will be delivering your washer and dryer tomorrow between 12-3pm. Rush to clean out the laundry room in the am, and within 2 minutes of finishing... Jan 12 @ 10:30am: Due to unforeseen circumstances, your washer and dryer will not arrive until Jan 15. Me, not believing LG... Jan 12 @12pm: call from delivery team, we'll be there in 30 minutes! They arrived in 30 minutes. I have less hair. Today's outfit Shirt: Charles Tyrwhitt Winchester poplin stripe with sky blue and white stripes Suit: Peter Millar navy wool suit with pin dot light blue pattern, 2-button single-breast jacket (no clue why I buttoned the bottom button for the pic!) Tie: Fort Belvedere navy with white polka dots wool challis tie Belt: Hanks Belt black leather and silver buckle Shoes: Stacy Adams black cap-toe Oxford (my AI bot likes these because they are video-conference appropriate... even though someone being able to see my shoes in a VC is decidedly NOT appropriate!) Socks: Mid blue cotton socks, quite the under-the-calf type Watch: Fossil Townsman with blue satin backplate, gold face accents, and caramel brown strap Pocket Square: Charles Tyrwhitt ivory with navy polka dots silk pocket square. Too small of a square for silk, but I like the inversion of colors/pattern with the tie Cufflinks: Charles Tyrwhitt cobalt blue discs with lines coming from the center

Great outfit, I love the cufflink!
Goodbye
Well, this is my final goodbye gentlemen. It was a pleasure to be part of this community, but I probably won’t be staying here either on the paid plan and I probably wasn’t active enough to get a vouch. So goodbye Bruno Berki, 31.12.2025
