How to avoid anticipation of expecting rejection
This is something we discussed on the call and you mentioned that on the phone I can be apprehensive and the prospect can pick up on that energy This is something I struggle with in person eg asking someone for a favour that may be a little difficult so I anticipate no and my tone and energy in the form of asking the question reflects that Ik rejection exposure can be helpful but that’s literally my job so don’t think that would be applicable would like to see a video explaining this further

how to reframe your mindset to stop anticipating failure and negative responses eg If you had to ask your boss to let you go early but you anticipate a negative response it shows up In your tone energy and the way you ask the question How do you stop this and change your tone to stop anticipating failure

Week 2 - Roleplay feedback
Productive day today. I’ve learned a lot from today’s role-play call, which really pushed me out of my comfort zone. Speaking on the spot is something I’ve always struggled with, I often find myself going blank or losing my train of thought. Today’s session was a Dragons Den style exercise (I’ve never done one before and was panicking deep down). We had to pitch a social media app to a customer over the phone. Since I have phone anxiety, this was definitely a challenge for me. It’s something I’ve noticed at work too, I tend to take calls in a meeting room rather than out in the open, because I worry about making mistakes and looking dumb. That’s why I’m really glad I took part today. I received some great feedback. I tend to over-talk after asking a question instead of giving the other person space to respond. That’s something I’ll be actively working on going forward. Overall, it was a great session and I’m genuinely proud of myself for stepping up and pushing through something I find difficult. šŸ™ŒšŸ¾

How to stop relying on confidence from big wins
This is something I’ve struggled with this past month , I’ve not booked any meetings this month and it’s come through in my energy, attitude and belief that I’m not cut out for this I also have been losing a lot in padel , I played a tournament and lost all the games However last month I won a padel tournament and booked a meeting and felt like I was that guy and it showed up in the way I spoke to people , played padel and approached obstacles How do I keep consistent confidence even when things are tough ?
The label you’ve been using
The shrinker , I’m just socially inept in social situations , if I say something wrong I will look stupid and it’s better to be quiet Appeaser , I’m just a people pleaser if I say what I actually think people will dislike me and that feeling is uncomfortable Performer , I’m just a comedian , I’ve convinced myself i am funny guy to numb the pain but now I have to keep playing catch up with that to the pint where I have to humiliate myself Deflector , I’m just emotionally avoidant, if I show emotion first I’m weak

@Ahmed Dino they all show up in different ways but the shrinker is the biggest one as it has the highest impact on my self worth
