SOTD - Tuesday 14 April
Taking a leaf, or in this case Spines, out of @Darren Poesel’s play book and trying to get some faun and artsy photos. Today I am wearing Dior Fahrenheit Parfum, remember it is opposite land Down Under, as I am in the cooler months of Autumn (fall) heading into Winter. Thanks to the Fahrenheit Kind that is @Michael LoCascio Sr for putting me onto this super amazing Fragrance. Have a great day Brothers

Two 👍 up. This fragrance, like your new suit…fire.
Xerjoff’s Erba Pura
Xerjoff Erba Pura was another one of my decants I purchased from Micro Perfumes. BLUF: What an amazing fragrance. Erba Pura opens with a vibrant burst of Sicilian orange, bergamot, and lemon layered over a lush medley of sweet Mediterranean fruits, immediately giving it that signature “juicy luxury” profile. On my skin, it delivers a confident 8-hour longevity window with strong projection early, gradually settling into a smoother, more controlled presence as the hours pass. The dry-down is where it really earns its reputation—creamy Madagascar vanilla, white musk, and amber create a warm, slightly powdery finish that feels refined and enveloping rather than overly sweet. Overall, Erba Pura is bold, unapologetically fruity, and undeniably luxurious—best suited for this 88 SATX weather.

SOTD - Poseidon's Absolu Elixir
Reviewing Dua's Poseidon’s Absolu Elixir. This is clearly inspired by Creed Aventus Absolu, and I’d put it at about 85% close. The DNA is there—you get that bright citrus opening with bergamot, lemon, and grapefruit, backed by a subtle fruitiness from blackcurrant and pineapple. As it settles, you’ll notice a mix of spice and warmth—ginger, cardamom, a touch of cinnamon—balanced with patchouli and vetiver. It’s a well-structured scent, but compared to the original, it doesn’t have the same depth or richness. It feels lighter, a bit more wearable, and less heavy on the skin. Performance is solid. I got all-day longevity, and it was still noticeable 4–5 hours in. Projection is moderate—present, but not overpowering. Overall, if you like the Absolu Aventus profile but want something a bit easier to wear day-to-day, this is a strong option. It delivers the core experience without going as deep or as bold as the original.

Bond#9 The Scent of Peace for Him EDP
This decant purchase presents as a refined and versatile fragrance with a distinctly modern profile. It opens with a clean, slightly fruity brightness before settling into a smooth, woody base that feels composed and confident rather than loud. The compact atomizer makes it practical for daily carry, while still delivering the character of a full-bottle experience. Overall, this is an excellent fragrance—balanced, wearable, and well-suited for both professional settings and relaxed evenings.

@Chad Smith Go with the decant first. But I believe you will want to grab the bottle.
Silver Mountain Water by Creed
Silver Mountain Water by Creed is a crisp, refined fragrance that opens with bright citrus and transitions into a clean green tea and blackcurrant heart, evoking the feel of fresh mountain air. It wears smooth and sophisticated, settling into a musky, slightly woody dry down that fits seamlessly in both professional and casual settings. The scent stands out for its distinctive, slightly metallic freshness and understated elegance. While highly unique and upscale, its projection and longevity tend to be more subtle than some expect from Creed’s lineup. That said, it’s not a bad fragrance, however, I’m glad I decided to take a test drive by only purchasing a decant sampler.
