Experiment #1 Update 10
Day 20. We're at 64. 🎉 Let's address the elephant in the room first. 10 days left. 36 members needed. I'm probably not going to hit 100. 😂 I'm calling it now so we can all move on and focus on what's actually interesting here 😉 Numbers: Members: 64 | Engagement: 78% | Discovery rank: 2,050 | Conversion rate: 16.7% | Days left: 10 | Still needed: 36 The wins this week: Discovery rank down to 2,050 from 2,238. Still moving in the right direction even in a quieter week. Conversion rate up to 16.7% from 13.4%. More people visiting the page are actually joining. The about page work is paying off. I got the 🔥 Which leads me to my favourite moment of this whole experiment. I've been doing a 30-day challenge to hit 10 Skool actions every day to keep my business momentum going, this started before I created this membership but I actually had no idea what I was entering. It came from joining a challenge in another skool group (The Solopreneur Initiative) but I've got to be honest, I thought I was joining just "do 10 actions each day on skool to grow" and the 🔥 emoji was just signifying that we were taking actions and were obviously awesome 😂... 6 days into the challenge and I finally realised that "get the FIRE" is an actual Skool achievement for doing exactly that and getting that 🔥 beside your name. I had accidentally entered a challenge I didn't even know existed and got part way through before I really knew what I was doing. 😂 The "ohhh duh" moment was very real. At least I caught up in time! 🫣 The real update: I've been less active in other Skool communities this week because I've been heads down setting up the June bundle and recruiting contributors. Something had to give. I'm also part of a bundle right now with the From Job to CEO framework as a free resource and I've had 40+ new subscribers have come through it in the last 3 days. I realised this morning I never included the Skool community link in the welcome email for those people. Updated it now but with 2 days left on that bundle... could have done better. 🙈

Those are some great numbers there! No bundle in the next 10 days to participate in? You could make it all about the community in the thank you page and the welcome sequence. If not, you crushed it anyways, I wish I had that level of engagement 💪

@Niky Egerton I hope so! It has fallen a bit flat, but I'm on day 16 or so right now, so yeah, I should make it 🤩
🎁 Welcome to Freebie Friday!
Every Friday I'm opening up the community for one thing: free stuff and its Friday in New Zealand so here we go! Share one free resource you offer - a lead magnet, a freebie, a free tool, whatever you've got. Drop the link and a one-line description of who it's for. No pitching paid offers, or bundles (sorry, only I'm allowed to break this rule 😉 I'm in a lot so will be sharing my links), just your own freebies. I'll start: I'm part of the Spring Reset Giveaway this week, 77+ free resources covering business, productivity, mindset and life. You pick only what's relevant to you so there's no wading through things that don't apply. Now, its not Spring in New Zealand but the resources are relevant no matter the season! It's live until April 28. 👉 Spring Reset Giveaway link Now your turn, drop your freebie below. 👇

Tired of yelling all the time? The Snap Switch™ is a simple 3-step method that helps you interrupt escalation before it turns into yelling. It shows you how to catch the surge in your body, reset it quickly, and respond with authority instead of regret. This isn’t about becoming calmer than you feel. It’s about staying in charge when the moment heats up. Get it here!

@Niky Egerton thank YOU for the opportunity!
Experiment #1 Update 9
Day 16. We're at 63. 🎉 The last few days I've been heads down building a new offer and setting up the June bundle. Something had to give and Skool engagement across groups was the sacrifice and the numbers show it. So useful data, when I stop showing up, the growth slows down. Not surprising but good (hmm good might be overstating 😂) to see it confirmed in the numbers. Numbers: Members: 63 | Engagement: 76% | Discovery rank: 2,238 | Conversion rate: 13.4% | Days left: 14 | Still needed: 37 Discovery rank is still moving in the right direction, 2,238 is up from 2,548 last update which means existing engagement and maybe keywords (not sure they are working yet) are doing some work even when I'm quiet. This week's experiment: For the next 4 days I'm going to interact with at least 10 new people per day across Skool communities. Genuine comments, real engagement, not drive-bys. And I'm going to look for 1-2 new communities I haven't been in yet that are specifically about online business and side hustles, finding new rooms rather than just the same ones I'm always in. Hypothesis: consistent daily showing up in the right rooms might encourage others to come visit. Let's find out. I'll report back on day 20 with the numbers. The bigger picture: 37 members in 14 days. It's possible but yeah... confidence levels are mid range right now 😅 What Skool communities do you think I should be showing up in that are aligned? Open to suggestions!

You are still on an average of 4 people a day, so the 100 is definitely doable! And look at that rank moving!!

@Niky Egerton I'm sure you will get it and will be very proud of pushing forward! 🥳
Time hack that saved me 30-60 minutes every morning 🕐
Recently I decided to take a risk on AI and hand over my completely unmanageable personal inbox to Claude. I was getting about 100 emails a day because I signed up for far too much stuff and then spending my time on the treadmill each morning frantically trying to read them all in case I missed a deadline or a school payment for my kids or a genius business idea 🙄. I had a great system - skim read every email so I was at zero each morning (for about a second) and star all the things I needed to go back to... then I decided to host my first bundle, launch a new product and start a new skool membership and I was done 🤯 I realised I couldn't keep up this ridiculous routine of trying to read over 100 emails every morning half of which were just garbage. I decided to hand it over to Claude cowork and see what it could do, I was at the point where if things got 'lost', I didn't care anymore, I could barely see what I had and the time was just sucking the life out of me. When Claude was finished, I had over 1000 'star' items in a folder 🤣🤣🤣 all that stuff I was tagging because I HAD to read it later... seriously 🙄 I'll probably never use the star again... But I also had all my business newsletters filtering to a specific folder, all my notifications to another one and the best system - A morning email digest in Claude that I can scan in 5 minutes and decide what needs action today without going through 100 emails to get there. I need to refine it but far out its been awesome (and if it has deleted some stuff, well, I don't care 🤣) What's the one thing eating your time every day that you keep tolerating? 👇

@Niky Egerton yeah I have all my email on my custom domains, so that would mean it probably needs SMTP access etc.. sounds like a pain in the *ss 😂

@Niky Egerton sometime to put on the never ending todo list 🤣
You're taking action every day. So why aren't the numbers moving? 📊
Posting. Showing up. Emailing your list. Joining communities. Busy every single day. And then you look at your numbers at the end of the week and think... where did all that effort go? 👀 That was me. And it's why I'm sharing this today because until 11pm Monday 20 April, every CEO Dashboard purchase includes a free spot on a live group onboarding call as part of the Bundle promotion where I walk you through it with my real numbers and make sure you actually leave set up and using it. After Monday the call offer is gone. So if you've been sitting on this now is the time. 👉 The CEO Dashboard Here's what the dashboard actually did for me: Three weeks. Zero sales. No idea why. Not because I wasn't working because I couldn't see what was actually happening. So I built something to fix it. The CEO Dashboard is a 60-day Google Sheets tracking system that takes 2 minutes a day and shows you exactly which actions are growing your list, what's converting to sales, and what's just keeping you busy. Since I started using it I went from 283 subscribers to over 800. I can tell you exactly which weeks I was consistent and what happened to my numbers as a result. Six tabs. All connected. All auto-calculating as you track daily: CEO Big Picture: your goal, 60-day targets, Growth Forecast and Revenue Projection Simulator Daily Tracker: one row, 2 minutes, Y/N drop-downs, subscribers, sales, revenue, daily score Weekly Dashboard: auto-pulls from daily data, patterns become obvious Daily Action Guide: growth, sales, authority and optimisation actions so you always know what to do today Future Ideas Parking Lot: park new ideas without derailing your focus Until 11pm Monday 20 April: Every purchase includes a free spot on a live group onboarding call Tuesday evening 21 April UST (12 noon Wednesday 22 April (NZ). I'll walk you through it with my real numbers and make sure you leave actually set up and using it. $47 Call included until Monday night.
You're taking action every day. So why aren't the numbers moving? 📊

This tool has honestly saved my life. I was all over the place, jumping from idea to idea, hoping something would stick or at least give me some sales. With this system I can actually decide what I will be focussing on this week (growth, sales or authority) and work with that. This doesn't mean I have a full plan, because I still love to be all over the place and let my creative brain do it's thing, but I can point all my actions towards something that will actually make sense 🤩
