White Dial Wednesday
Jumping on the wagon for #wdw with a Timex Expedition field watch. Kitty Hawk is on its way back to Tim after it suddenly stopped running, so looks like this is gonna be the new daily for a little while.

Sharp and classic
I’m not looking older
At least that what I tell folks: I’m not looking older-I am simply developing a valuable patina 😉. Thought I would match the wearer for white dial Wednesday with my 1940’s Bulova

It has been a good while since I did a wrist shot so this feels very odd. Wearing my 1970s Lanco that was assembled towards the end of the company's production, and originally posted about it here: https://www.skool.com/watch-lover/afternoon-alternative-lanco-manual-wind-51051?p=21c5d1c3 For those interested I posted a brief history of the company here: https://www.skool.com/watch-lover/lanco-automatic?p=4f0b3f03

@Brian McGuire I was on their site yesterday. I really want to add a yellow shirt into my collection. Sticking to guns on my spending freeze tho. I think this shirt is 80% cotton 20% wool. Someday
Day #1 of the Kitty Hawk!
After I finished with the Compulsary 3 day wear of my new Monterey Commodore, I was in love with the new watch so much I decided to jump right into his brother Kitty Hawk with another 3 day wear cycle! I have been truly impressed with the quality of these watches for the price point. The act of winding and setting a watch is something I cherish and enjoy. These are no exception. While I have some watches that are just a bit "off" during that time, these seem really nice and tactile while doing it. Not too hard or too quiet/soft. A great experience. If I have any complaint (which isn't really one). The strap is very large. I am a bigger guy. 6'1" 195# and have been known to have a fairly large wrist and this strap requires me to be on the very last hole 🤔. The commodore with the fold over butterfly strap didn't give me this issue at all, there was room for me to grow or shrink with it. Not a big deal, but definitely something everyone should be aware of I you are purchasing. I'm quite sure if you mention something to Tim when you order he'll make sure you have what you need. Hope you all have a great Tuesday!!

I'm a skinny rippit (5' 11'' 160#) and wear mine on the second to last hole. I thought it seemed large as well. I also like to wear this one a bit tighter to keep the watch from sliding up my wrist and the large crown from digging into the top of my hand. All that aside, looks great, I love it too.
