Do You Thrive With Structure or Freedom?
Hey everyone 👋I’ve been thinking about something lately…As someone running an ecommerce business and navigating ADHD, I’ve noticed I work best when I mix structure with freedom. Too much structure feels restrictive, but too much freedom makes me lose direction 😅 I’m curious —👉 Do you work better with a clear routine?or👉 Do you prefer a more flexible “flow with your energy” kind of day? I’d love to hear how everyone here balances the two. Maybe we can all pick up ideas from each other 💬✨

If I worked great with a clear routine, the world would be mine by now! I'm referring to structure when I say routine. There is some structure that works for me such as, I need my keys to be either hanging on the hook or in my purse. Can't be anywhere else. The other type of structure such as a schedule from 0800-1700 with a checkoff list, usually doesn't get accomplished. Unfortunately, it may take me a few hours on 1 task between the daydreaming, fidgeting , breaks in-between the already taken breaks. HOWEVER, the days I'm on a role and can knock shit out, are the days my energy is mad flowing . I tend to be more focused later, much later in the day and late at night. I'm more focused with the binaural beats music, I'm focused when by myself. So, to summarize...it's all about getting things done based on energy vs a structured scheduled. Thanks for reading my dissertation! 😝Oh wait, that wasn't the question. Energy = Freedom.
“Your worth isn’t something you earn. It’s something you remember.”
As a psychotherapist who specialises in building self-worth, I wanted to share this Monday motivational reminder: You were born worthy. You don’t have to earn it or be perfect. Remember your worth — don’t chase it.

Love this reminder! Necessary to repeat this as a mantra when the tough days kick in!
Self-Care 🤌
Tonight on our weekly Focus Founder Accelerator call, we discussed an important topic: Self-care. As ADHD entrepreneurs, it's all too common that we hustle and grind our way into burnout. We think it's more important to spend every possible moment working. And worse still, we regret or feel guilty about taking time off when we finally do get a break. So tonight, we asked everyone what their favorite self-care routine is, and why. Because self-care is a secret to being a more productive and happier entrepreneur. Here are some of the answers we got: @Reema Rana cooks herself a meal to show herself some love. She really enjoys cooking for others, and cooking for herself is a way to show herself that same graciousness. @Sebastian Schroeder loves to take time for unstructured meditation. Time to let his mind wander and the answers he seeks to find him. @Rainbow Bird de Soliris takes time to stretch every morning, and especially enjoys xis muscle hook. @Matthew O'Brien neglected self-care for 10 years, and recently found that taking care of himself by grayscaling his phone, turning on night-time mode on his computer at night, and taking creatine have all helped him to have more in reserves at the end of the day - and make him a more pleasant person to be around (his words hehe). @Brian Diep enjoys exercise in the first hour of his day, and finds that when he sticks to this routine it sets the rest of his day up for success. @Mahedi Kaiser loves lifting weights and using his muscles to get in his body. And my personal favorite? @Nancy Burditt loves saying "NO!" to things that don't serve her. Saying no to more things allows her free time to spend with herself, reading books or doing whatever she wants to do.

I enjoy early morning walks with my dog and the sound of songbirds. There's something so incredibly soothing about stillness in nature and songbirds. Before the roads get busy with rush hour traffic. Just the sound of nature, the sound of crushed Autumn leaves with every step and my dog Bam Bam at my side. I feel so at peace and in the moment. I love when nature shows up, just for me.

@Micah Walker My apologies, I've been having major connectivity issues today. It is still ongoing. It's in and out, hence the reason for delay to respond earlier.
