Excuse me, how can I turn off the email notification of the community?

I realized that the key point of listening is indeed follow a block, a phrase and real words. I really should watch without subtitles first then with subtitles. The coaches in the community give really great advice.It’s super beneficial!!! I will keep it go on. And I realized why practiced listening before but no progress. I always listened to it and couldn’t understand it.Then I could understand it by looking at the answers. This is because my brain automatically made up for those words that were omitted and weakly read, just like I reading Chinese, it automatically arranged a random sentence in order. I practiced listening, then looking at the answers while listening to the audio. I thought I had made progress, but in fact I didn’t. I also recognized the importance of pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and flow as like Coach Shane said.

I am from china and currently live in Qinhuangdao. I am new to the community and want to improve my listening skills.When watching dear Shane's lessons with subtitles, I find myself focusing on the text instead of the video.But without subtitles, I struggle to understand everything. What should I do? How can I improve step by step? I have noticed that when I hear a sentence and catch a specific word, I can’t translate it into Chinese quickly enough.This makes it hard to keep up with the listening speed, and I end up not understanding. In short, I am accustomed to relying on my visual comprehension to understand sentences, rarely using my listening skills for comprehension. Therefore, my hearing is getting worse and worse. This habit led to my last CET-6 exam where I scored 200 points on the reading section but only 90 points on the listening section.😥😭🥲
