Quivers
What quiver is everyone using for hunting? On bow back, hip? Slide on or strap on quiver. Looking for one for my new bow.

Great northern for strap on is the best. Expensive but well worth it. I also have an old Bear back quiver and have made a few bucks in side quivers like the old Indian style. They strap over your shoulder and the quiver sits horizontal along your hip. I like that for in fields but they’re terrible in the brush as the arrows point forward and catches on everything. For hunting I use and old compound detachable that I strap to My backpack and mount to a tree on the ground or in stand. Try every kind and see what works for you.

EXCITING UPDATE!...MAP is LIVE!!!
Our MAP feature is live!!!....we have an amazing group and now our MAP feature in our group is LIVE!!!...so right now, go to the MAP area, click on it and click on one of the pins to see who lives close to you!...Looking for like minded people living close to you, want to head to the archery range together or maybe even have land and want to help people who don't have access to land to hunt???...the possibilities are endless! I shot recurves as a little kid, buying wood arrows at the hardware store every chance I had. Bought a new Bear compound at age 13, hunted with a compound into my 30s while hunting deer and turkeys in MN before I moved to Alaska. Harvested moose, caribou, and grizzlies with wheels. What took Me back to traditional was reading Byron Feeguson’s “Become the Arrow” book. Hunted tons of grouse, ptarmigan, and hares up there before moving back to my homeland. Haven’t touched a compound in over 10 years. LOVE shooting recurves
