Monday Mindset (Nutrition Focus)
Here's some Nutrition guidance I recently gave to a fellow community member, and I do believe that it needs to be seen by everyone, so... here you go! The discussion of "food noise" came up aka constant 'when am I going to eat?' 'am I allowed to eat that?' or 'carbs are bad! wait, I need carbs! ahhhhh nothing makes sense'! And so I gave this following comment to provide structure, clarity, and guidance. Enjoy! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "First and foremost, you are not broken. You’ve been fed (pun intended) a lot of fear mongering to make you feel like you’re at fault. You’re not. It’s a societal construct that has been used for the last 2-3 decades. Second, you are absolutely capable of quieting the noise. And here’s where we start: - keep a food emotion & environment log - - when you eat, where you eat, what you eat, why you eat, how you eat, and how you are feeling - - (ex. 07:34am, in the car, protein bar, only chance to have a bite, as fast as possible, nervous/stressed/impatient) *this will teach you a lot of awareness around your food intake, but more importantly, it will create a need to check-in with yourself and your emotions around eating Third, as a female, you’ve been given so many requirements by society in terms of “be fit! Be thin! Eat the cake, girl! Carbs are bad! You’re beautiful no matter what you eat! You can’t eat that!” It’s a back and forth, push and pull that leaves you in the center of confusion, fear, and most importantly (for the powers above us controlling food marketing and propaganda), stuck. And then they feed you (pun intended again) a new, crazed solution that inevitably leads you back to square one. Then the cycle repeats. Fourth, challenge the story that you are telling yourself about food. Each time it shows up, like a toddler, ask “why?” - - you can’t eat that! Why?
Goodmorning
What a beautiful Monday morning sunrise . It's not as pretty as a lot of other ones but I enjoy waking up to this every day. I live right near the water to so it's very pretty.

Set Yourself Up Saturday!
Hey squad, So Saturdays are big, right? First day of the weekend. Finally free from the hectic and busy week schedule. Figuring out what the next two days have in store, yeah? Well… how do you set yourself up FOR SUCCESS on a Saturday? Is it getting your rest? Is it going and hiking away from the city? Is it that 8am spin class? Is it a sunrise coffee? How do you help yourself? How do you treat yourself like your best friend that you want to succeed in ALLLLL of the things? How do you succeed? Every week will be different. But if you have a goal, you NEED structure. And so, if you haven’t gone through the Start Here 30 day blueprint… why not? If you’re not creating structure and allowing success in your front door… why not? If you’re simply waiting in the wings HOPING something will show up randomly… WHY?! No one can do it FOR you. So it’s a good thing you’re in a place where you can learn to do it FOR yourself. Let me know what Day you’re on in the Start Here section below!

@Lynnaea Smith well I love the impromptu camping trip idea, but I’m so sorry for the loss… and so close to your own mother’s passing anniversary makes for a heavy week… be you. Be away. Be grateful for all the love and time you were able to share. Big hugs.

Mindset Mobility
So over the past few days I've been working on the mindset Mobility section and I have taken key points and written my own notes so whenever I am thinking in certain ways I can go back and look and I just wanted to share and case anybody wants to look at like the key points and what Tyler explains in the examples he shares I mean they're not like grammatically correct but I think by looking at them you can get a sense of like what's actually trying to tell you and I just thought it would be helpful to some of you just in case you guys don't have the time to take to write out or type out these types of things. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wg-KxBlkNFonZFXC6i6KcKpRQabmQY_1nmDjYgvEaGE/edit?tab=t.0
