Set Yourself Up Saturday!
Hey squad, So Saturdays are big, right? First day of the weekend. Finally free from the hectic and busy week schedule. Figuring out what the next two days have in store, yeah? Well… how do you set yourself up FOR SUCCESS on a Saturday? Is it getting your rest? Is it going and hiking away from the city? Is it that 8am spin class? Is it a sunrise coffee? How do you help yourself? How do you treat yourself like your best friend that you want to succeed in ALLLLL of the things? How do you succeed? Every week will be different. But if you have a goal, you NEED structure. And so, if you haven’t gone through the Start Here 30 day blueprint… why not? If you’re not creating structure and allowing success in your front door… why not? If you’re simply waiting in the wings HOPING something will show up randomly… WHY?! No one can do it FOR you. So it’s a good thing you’re in a place where you can learn to do it FOR yourself. Let me know what Day you’re on in the Start Here section below!

@Anna Foster 💅 nails done must’ve felt good after such a long week and I like that you tried something new from DD. It’s true there is only so much you can do - be sure to honor and find compassion for the soft side of you as well as the armored side of you

@Lynnaea Smith well I love the impromptu camping trip idea, but I’m so sorry for the loss… and so close to your own mother’s passing anniversary makes for a heavy week… be you. Be away. Be grateful for all the love and time you were able to share. Big hugs.
Appreciation
I just want to thank everyone for the helpful advice and everything that they get on here. Thinking back to a month ago when I first joined this community I think there's still a lot more to do but I'm definitely getting somewhere vs since before when I wasn't. I just want to give a big thanks to @Tyler Buckingham of the Big brother advice and even just all the advice you give in general. I found a lot of the mindset mobility courses helpful in it pinpoints exactly where my mind was thinking and how to alter those thoughts when they start to linger in my head . I mean they're not even just to Tyler, Deb, Kayla Jess, like everybody else that's just comes with these thought out comments for my posts that make me see things in a different way so I appreciate it . Another thing is just being in this community gives me the confidence to speak up for myself so I really think that this was a good step forward to trying to become who I want to be and prepare myself for being an adult.

Thanks so much for the appreciation to the community, Anna! It means a lot to have you here and it means even MORE to have you actively doing something to help you, help yourself. I’m also learning a lot thanks to you being here and so the feelings are mutual. Let’s keep glowing and growing!
Goodmorning
I have a horrible fear of heights and bridges I mean yes 100% some bridges are pretty but I'm just genuinely afraid of them . Here's a reference of how high up I really was lol I'm scared of all heights weather it be even two feet . Does anyone else have a fear of heights.

Hey Anna, fellow afraid of heights person in here! Never been a fan, probably never will be a fan, and I also know that it’s okay to be afraid of stuff. I’ve been traveling a lot the last 8 months and to say that my fear of heights has gone away couldn’t be farther away from the truth - if anything, it’s been more realized. But what HAS changed is my relationship to the fear. If I want to go see my girlfriend on the west coast, I must fly in a plane to do so. It’s also safer than driving for 4 days across the country. Afraid? Yes. Safer? Yes. Does my body still feel awful? Yes. I also know that sometimes it’s okay to be uncomfortable (WITHIN REASON). Fear is still very much there. I also appreciate what is on the other side of that fear a whole lot more.

@Djarno Koolen great insight and thoughts 🙌📈
Tried to journal 😐
So I just tried to journal (set a timer for 5 min) But my brain doesn’t get the point, it’s just going around without actually getting somewhere. I try to translate what I wrote; Alright, starting a journal, I’ve set I timer for 5 min. Within that time I’m not gonna think but just write (I hope). Even though I don’t know where to start, little bit of a last resort or some kind of. How do you actually do this? Do I tell about my day? How do I feel? goals in life? Even now I’m just writing down bullshit, out of hope something useful will emerge. Didn’t sport for a while, maybe a lot on my mind because of it? (Here the 5 min where over. like I said , nothing useful) Anyone advice on this?

…apparently my comment from earlier did not post… Dude… you’re DOING IT. It doesn’t seem like much because it’s not lifting a mountain, it’s a breath of fresh air or the breeze on a hot summer day. What you did is exactly what it was meant to be. Maybe you DO need to play sport more? Maybe dumping all that out as awkward and clunky as it felt is exactly what you needed to go “oh hey… it’s been a minute - I gotta get back to it!” Because in sport there is: community, FRIENDSHIP (the thing that keeps popping up for you), and energy exerted outward. You’re doing juuuuust fine

@Djarno Koolen oooofff! That’s awful, man. Having injuries is not a good time (and I would know quite extensively)! Definitely be mindful of your output. Maybe consult a doctor or physio to get a better understanding of where you’re at?? No need to go all out but maybe you’d be able to start a movement routine with the end goal being sport in 2-months or so??
Making my own workbook
I am adding the homework pages and turning them into my own workbook.

That’s a good idea! I mentioned it about a week ago, but once we get enough people in here and I have the resources for it, I’ll make a workbook that we can send out to people when they join! Great idea :)
