Feels Like Cheating!
So, am away for 10 days, not a holiday but down for the whole Easter week in the other half's village, Semana Santa is big in Andalucia. It's great for running and outdoors stuff here, but I'd also been scoping some gyms where I can pay on the door. Went to one this morning, not great and not a good training session. Found another I will try Monday. Weird when you step out of the familiar surrounds of your own gym, you know where everything is, you're comfortable with the kit etc, I almost feel like I'm cheating on my usual place! Hopefully gym 2 on Monday has a better feel to it. 🤞

I know exactly what you mean….
My Third C
The missus asked me to go to the shop yesterday to buy bread. As I'm walking, mentally I'm telling myself I'm getting in a few more steps. Yes, the main two C's that are drummed in are Calories and Consistency, but I began to think that for me the third is Conscious. I'm just more conscious now of what I'm eating, when I'm moving and just generally how everything all in fits in to place in the bigger scheme of things.

Monday Motivation - STUART 🔥 21KG DOWN AND STRONGER AT 48 THAN HIS ENTIRE 30s 🚨
Read this. Then read it again. Because this isn’t just a transformation. It’s a reminder of who you can become when you stop letting life happen to you… and take command again. Let me tell you about Stuart. Once an operator. Sharp. Dialled. Built like a weapon. But like many men — life caught up. 📉 The stress piled on. 📉 The structure fell away. 📉 He was still training, still eating “clean”… but nothing changed. He lost his edge. And when that edge goes… so does the belief. But the greatest power move? 🎯 He didn’t sulk. 🎯 He didn’t make excuses. 🎯 He raised his hand and said, “I’m ready.” And now? ✅ Down 21kg (46lbs) ✅ From 97kg to 76kg — without a single crash diet or “all-or-nothing” plan ✅ Stronger than in his prime ✅ More confident, more powerful, and more locked-in than ever before And here’s the kicker… He did it while travelling. While eating out. While living life. He didn’t quit his job. He didn’t cancel dinner plans. He just trusted the process and executed like a professional. His words? “I've now got structure, accountability, and a coach who adapts the plan around my lifestyle. I've got my edge back.” 👑 This is what we do inside Aesthetic Strength. We don’t hand out motivation. We hand you the mirror, the map, and the method. And it’s on you to reclaim what you lost. To every other man inside this program right now: 🧠 You’re not broken. 🧠 You’re not behind. 🧠 But if you keep dipping your toe in instead of diving the f*** in — you will never unlock what Stuart just did. You’re not here to be average. You’re here to dominate. 📅 Drop a 🔥 if this was your wake-up call. Let’s raise the standard. The mission continues.

Brilliant post this @Simon Johnson, it has 100% not been the easiest journey, but it isn’t meant to be if you want to see the results. I ticked the boxes and followed my PT instructions in ensuring my sessions were complete and I was constantly increasing weight/reps. Although it has been tough, I’ve loved every minute of it - thanks to the team I have been able to be at my best 💪💪

Skinny Support
Going to pre-empt this post saying I've spoken to both James and Simon about this and I AM TRUSTING the process. Still on the cutting/losing weight stage. Saw more people this weekend who commented on how skinny I looked. By all accounts still got up to 3-5kg to go and my clothes looking big on me now! Fellas, this isn't a moan, but I am struggling a bit with this, let's call it a getting it off my chest post!!!!

Hi Paul, I am in exactly the same boat as you. I have had people saying to me “you look to skinny”, I have lost 20.3kg since last August but I feel great, looking fitter than I ever have before. I look at those people who have said that to me and they are by no means in a place to say anything, they are people who are over weight and don’t do anything about it. We have taken a massive step forward in changing our lifestyle to be the better version of ourselves and continuing our journey with our dedicated PTs. I feel so much more confident about taking off my shirt while on holiday (abs showing), before I was always hesitant and thinking everyone was looking at my love handles. We have to trust the process and the next stage for us both is a reverse diet and start building more muscle without the fat. I’m on the same journey as you mate so if you ever need a chat - give me a hollow. Stay strong mate Stuart
