Do You Workout for Weightloss?
Did you know that when it comes to weight loss, exercising should be your last focal point? If you workout regularly, but don't get adequate sleep, or have a horrible diet, all of your exercise won''t matter? It is absolutely imperative that you understand your diet, and your sleep are the 2 most foundational pieces of your weight loss journey! By focusing on these 2 things 1st, you will begin to implement healthier habits that will not be offset by those lazy days on the couch when you don't have much energy left. Your diet controls how many calories you are putting into your body. And your sleep helps you regulate your emotional control, and allows you to start your next day with more control and motivation! Before you step foot into a gym this month check in on your diet, and sleep. If you feel both rested and nourished get that exercise! But if you feel a bit sluggish, and exhausted your body may not be ready for a workout! Always check in with your body!

With Thanksgiving coming in hot....
Let's work to be a bit more active this week, so we can get into a routine that will support the eating that is done on Turkey Day! We should all be mindful of healthy eating practices for the holiday, but sometimes we slip. That is perfectly normal! Its a holiday about gathering together and sharing a big meal! But because we have a tendency to overeat, we should work to incorporate additional physical activity this week! That way we can start a routine to help burn off those excess calories! Share with us below, what you're thinking of incorporating over the next week! Personally, I will be adding in a walk every day, to boost my physical activity. Small changes, can make big impacts!

Over the next week let's work together to improve our eating habits so we don't lose control on Turkey Day...again I know I always struggle with restraint on Thanksgiving, because its such a great shmorgisboard of food! All of my favorites in 1 place lol But this year, I will be practicing restraint, and working with my family on healthier options! Lets start a thread on how we want to practice healthier habits this year for Thanksgiving!
