With Thanksgiving coming in hot....
Let's work to be a bit more active this week, so we can get into a routine that will support the eating that is done on Turkey Day! We should all be mindful of healthy eating practices for the holiday, but sometimes we slip. That is perfectly normal! Its a holiday about gathering together and sharing a big meal! But because we have a tendency to overeat, we should work to incorporate additional physical activity this week! That way we can start a routine to help burn off those excess calories! Share with us below, what you're thinking of incorporating over the next week! Personally, I will be adding in a walk every day, to boost my physical activity. Small changes, can make big impacts!

Thanksgiving is 1 week away!
Over the next week let's work together to improve our eating habits so we don't lose control on Turkey Day...again I know I always struggle with restraint on Thanksgiving, because its such a great shmorgisboard of food! All of my favorites in 1 place lol But this year, I will be practicing restraint, and working with my family on healthier options! Lets start a thread on how we want to practice healthier habits this year for Thanksgiving!

Planning will only take you so far. At some point, your action needs to take over. Once you start putting your changes into place, you will start to manifest your reality and move towards your goals, faster than ever! If you have a plan, put it in place. 1 Week Challenge!
This week lets try to go out and eat 25 different plants! This may sound weird, but fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, beans are all plants! Push to hit 25 different plants this week to mix up your diet, and experiment with new foods that you don't normally consume. By increasing your plant intake you will drastically alter your nutritional intake, and improve your diet substantially! Trying new foods is one of the great spices of life! Cheat code: You can use smoothies with fruits and vegetables to increase the number of plants you have in one meal! My favorite: Blueberry Banana Smoothie! 1 Banana 1 cup of mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries) 1 cup of Kale 1 tablespoon of Peanut Butter 1 tablespoon of Flax Seeds 1 1/2 cup of Almond Milk 1 scoop of Whey Protein Ice That is a total of 8 different plants in 1 meal!

1 Week Challenge!
Walking Challenge!
This weekend, head outside and get to walking! If you are looking to inspire some change, and get your health goals on track, start by going for a walk! This weekend, shoot for 10,000 Steps both Saturday and Sunday! This challenge will help you get outdoors, become more active, and get you moving towards those goals of yours! Bonus Points if you get someone to take on the challenge with you! Because every challenge is easier when you have someone who will join in!
