Jesus Wept.
Shortest verse in the Bible. John 11:35. Jesus knew He was about to raise Lazarus from the dead. He knew the solution was coming. He wept anyway. He sat in the pain before He fixed it.
If your spouse is hurting, do not rush to fix it. Sit in it with them. That is what Jesus did.
