With my large family I get requests from some with pictures of projects asking if I can make it. The easiest way I found is to make a copy of the project on 8-2/2” 1/4” graph paper, then transfer the drawing to a pattern on 1/4” underlayment, which most brands have 1” squares.You can use the 1/4” as a guide to figure out how big you want your project ( 1/4=1”) for example.To begin with you need a way to make the original drawing,I accomplished this by building a simple light box. See attached photo,4 sides, piece of plexiglass, led strip light , 1/4” bottom. One end removable for serviceing. Total cost about $20.00
