PEPTIDE SPOTLIGHT THIS WEEK- DSIP
I personally love DSIP, but I do think it’s often misunderstood.
DSIP is really geared toward improving deep, restorative sleep. This is the stage of sleep that typically happens in the first few hours after you fall asleep and, along with REM, is one of the most important phases. It’s when growth hormone is released and your body does the majority of its repair and recovery.
What DSIP does not typically do well is help you stay asleep. This is where a lot of people say, “it didn’t do anything for me.” But the key here is, you really need to know how much deep sleep you’re actually getting to evaluate it properly.
When I use DSIP, I track it with my Oura Ring, and for me, my deep sleep increased from about 45 minutes per night to around 1.5 hours. That’s a huge shift in recovery.
The other big piece is dosing. Most recommended protocols start on the lower end, which is always the right place to begin. But in my experience, many people (myself included) need higher dosing to really see the benefits. This is one where you may need to experiment a bit to find your sweet spot.
If you want to go deeper, I’ve attached a full breakdown for you. You can also find it under the Classroom tab along with all the other peptide spotlights.
Happy reading, ladies!
