Welcome to the Hormone & Gut Health Hub for Women 💛
I’m Claire – an integrated health coach with extra training in hormone health and gut health. A bit about me: after my third child I started experiencing weight gain, hair loss, crushing fatigue and brain fog. I spent years being told “your bloods are normal” before finally being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and, more recently, perimenopause. I know how frustrating it is to feel like a stranger in your own body and not get the answers or support you need. That’s why I created this hub. This space is for women roughly 35–45 who are: - Wondering if what they’re feeling might be perimenopause - Struggling with hormones, energy, mood, sleep or gut issues - Tired of Googling and guessing, and want simple, realistic support - Inside this hub you’ll find: - Bite-sized tips on hormones, perimenopause and gut health - Practical ideas you can actually use in real life (no extremes) - A supportive space to ask questions and feel less alone - Occasional free live sessions where we go deeper together - You’re so welcome here – whether you’re just curious, quietly struggling, or already know you’re in perimenopause. 💬 Say hello in the comments: - Your name - Rough age (e.g. “late 30s”, “early 40s”) - The main thing you’re struggling with right now (e.g. sleep, mood, bloating, energy) - One thing you’d love to feel more of over the next few months (e.g. calm, energy, confidence) - - I can’t wait to get to know you and support you. Claire x
Is it Perimenopause, Stress – or Both? 🤯
If you’re feeling “off” lately and wondering what on earth is going on with your body, you’re not alone. Many women in their late 30s and 40s start noticing changes and are told: “Your bloods are normal.” “Must be stress.” “Welcome to getting older.” But here’s the thing: perimenopause often starts years before your periods stop, and it can look like a lot of different things. Some common signs can include: Feeling more tired than you “should” be Brain fog or struggling to find words Mood swings, anxiety or feeling more emotional than usual Sleep changes – waking in the night, early waking, restless sleep Weight gain or body shape changes, even if nothing else has changed Bloating or gut issues that seem to have come out of nowhere Irregular periods, heavier or lighter bleeds, or cycle changes Stress can absolutely make all of this worse – but it’s not always the whole story. You deserve to understand what’s happening in your body, not just be told to “relax” or “wait it out”. 💬 Over to you: Which of these symptoms sounds most like you right now? Comment below with: The symptom(s) you recognise, and How long you’ve been noticing them You’re not imagining it, and you’re definitely not alone. 💛
