Is it Perimenopause, Stress – or Both? 🤯
If you’re feeling “off” lately and wondering what on earth is going on with your body, you’re not alone.
Many women in their late 30s and 40s start noticing changes and are told:
“Your bloods are normal.”
“Must be stress.”
“Welcome to getting older.”
But here’s the thing: perimenopause often starts years before your periods stop, and it can look like a lot of different things.
Some common signs can include:
Feeling more tired than you “should” be
Brain fog or struggling to find words
Mood swings, anxiety or feeling more emotional than usual
Sleep changes – waking in the night, early waking, restless sleep
Weight gain or body shape changes, even if nothing else has changed
Bloating or gut issues that seem to have come out of nowhere
Irregular periods, heavier or lighter bleeds, or cycle changes
Stress can absolutely make all of this worse – but it’s not always the whole story.
You deserve to understand what’s happening in your body, not just be told to “relax” or “wait it out”.
💬 Over to you:
Which of these symptoms sounds most like you right now?

You’re not imagining it, and you’re definitely not alone. 💛
