$5K Assignment Deal Virtually Done From Egypt

How are Wholesalers paid in a JV agreement?
Here is the entire message sent to me by the investor. Is this a standard and/or legit way to get paid? Thanks ! Finishing up the doc now -- will send shortly. Please Note: I had to add the following language which essentially says you will be as a line item on the HUD vs. my LLC paying you -- so I don't have to issue you a 1009. If escrow requires me to pay you, then I will have to issue you a 1099, meaning I'll need to collect some additional info -- I don't expect we'll need to do that, but do want to be transparent and give you the "heads up."
