⁉️🎥🎞️🫶 Don’t you DARE stop the camera rolling!!
Hi Tribers! I wanted to you give you one more gift, just because I love you so much!!!! I intentionally didn’t cut the beginning of this video. I want to use this as an opportunity to teach you something that will help you BIG time - with everything you do! I preach and teach this to all my clients (and it’s been life changing for everyone!!!!) - regardless if they are a music artist, a public speaker or a community leader… We all are somehow “camera shy” or let’s call it what it is in reality, STAGE FREIGHT. Wether you are playing or speaking for 5 000 people or just recording a video for your YouTube channel or community… DON’T stop rolling!!! Here are 3 reasons why: 1. You get comfortable as you get used to the camera - like it’s your best friend… Just like playing an instrument, practicing makes you better! The more you do it, the better you get… just keep it rolling! You can always discard what you recorded, cut it, redo etc… 2. You get an unbiased feedback when you rewatch it - sometimes it will make you cringe… Sometimes will leave in awe - how far you have come!!! BUT in any case, you will be able to tell what can be improved and work on that… NOTE that you can’t do that while you are recording - you must watch the recording! Cuz you are too busy paying attention on making it “perfect” or worrying how you sound or thinking about lunch etc… While you are doing it - you cannot tell how you really did, what to improve etc… 3. Playing / speaking while you recording - is more pressure than rehearsing without recording - therefore is more like playing /speaking in front of a crowd? Ye? You are hyper sensitive and extra cautious… Which makes it a REALLY POTENT PRACTICE. In fact, it’s so powerful that you can think of it 1:10 ratio. 1 time practicing a song w a camera equals 10 times practicing it by yourself, without camera!!!! I do as a I preach - as you can see from this video. This is way I have such a great success teaching others. I stress on the importance of recording yourself and also playing for friends, family, crowd… etc….
