The Value of Craft: Are we entering an age where the algorithm values “velocity” (AI churn) over “craft” (humanly composed music)? It feels like the connection between an artist and an audience is being torn down in favour of a “viral-or-nothing” lottery. For those of us who are accumulating work over years and not over weeks, the math is becoming less justifiable.
