To put it into perspective, here is what life looked like when 46 of the world's biggest music icons gathered in one room: - No internet existed for the public. - Home computers were incredibly rare luxuries. - No modern cell phones—only ultra-wealthy people had "car phones" bolted inside their vehicles. - No streaming—you waited for the radio or bought the vinyl. - Windows 1.0 and the NES just launched. It took massive coordination to bring these artists together without the internet or smartphones.
