๐Ÿชž UnShaming Reflections
There's something that most of us get wrong about where our pain lives.
We think the hard thing that happened is the whole story. But in unshaming, we learn that it's actually what happened after that matters most. When your experience was dismissed, minimized, or treated like it wasn't a big deal, the wound couldn't heal. That denial is what turned pain into shame.
This week's reflection:
Think of a time when you were hurting and the response you got made it worse. Maybe they brushed it off, changed the subject, or made you feel like you were overreacting. What did that teach you about your own pain? And how do you still treat your pain that same way today?
Take your time with this one. ๐Ÿ’›
