Early Riser or Night Owl?
It wasn't until I had my daughter that I became a morning person out of necessity. ๐Ÿคช My kid was an early riser like 4:00am - 5:00am for many years. Growing up as a teenager and into my adulthood, I was much more a night owl. I loved staying up late with friends and then once I started working as a server/bartender, I was there until 4:00am some nights. Not to mention my party days! ๐Ÿซฃ Now, I'm up every morning at 6:00am to start to my day and I actually love the early mornings. I like to sleep in on the weekends until 8:00am sometimes but I really feel like I'm missing so much of my day. How about you? xo, Amanda

I don't consider myself a morning person although Im up generally by 7-8am on my days off, even if I sleep late. Although I don't enjoy waking up early, Im not a bad-mood type in the morning.
The Song on Repeat
What song have you been listening to and had on repeat lately? Music is an incredible tool. It can change my mood in an instant, take me back to a place in time, energize me when I need it most, or supports me as I lean into feeling my emotions. I really notice the days that I don't play music and I need to remind myself how important music is to me somedays. Drop your favs below. I'm making a community playlist. ๐Ÿฅฐ xo, Amanda

My playlists are labeled for different moods. Stephen Wilson Jr has been playing alot in our house. His lyrics are so honest, to struggles, pain that is hard to express, calls out societal contradictions. His sound of his guitar and voice, both unique. The acoustic versions are better than the produced versions. I could listen to him for hours on end, specifically '1994', 'American gothic', 'Cuckoo', 'fathers son' and 'Kid'. But I usually just press play.

Salute toute le monde! I'm Sherry, born and raised in BC but uprooted to Quebec 6 years ago. Excited to have found a small women's group in the village who are into oils, crystals, lunar cycles and human garage. My heart is cautiously happy dancing about it! I can feel the change in the sun and air that spring is upon us, but still hitting -20 at night. I hear more birds outside, everything is waking up under the snow.

This course is sooo good. First time I went through the course, it was really examining if the definition of shame presented was the same as what I feel as shame. It was bang on. A week later, I went through the course again, to really appreciate the second half, which is how to deal with shame. I feel I've been trying to figure this out for years! Here it's a clear and simple approach ๐Ÿ’› Still have to do the worksheet, kinda dreading it, with anticipation of feeling triggered and shame, but knowing that this time, there is a process with intention, of plucking shame out of my being, I'm motivated to complete it. Thank you for this work Amanda.
