I don't think many are aware of this, but the only two things which help you learn well aside from practice are discussions and teaching to others.
Which is why whenever you are asking for other ways of doing things or giving feedback you're actually taking steps forward.
In fact, I bet some of the most active guys (, , to say a few) have likely noticed a boost in their confidence and skills.
