Closing the Free Community
Dear underdogs, As you may have all noticed, the community has been dying down. I run my whole business exclusively with the help of @Cinzia Sirbu, and we simply do not have much spare time. The paid community, Underdog Sales Academy, has been growing like crazy, and my time is tied up there. The free community will close in the next 14 days. If you wish to join the paid community, you can check it here: https://underdogsales.lpages.co/elite/ Thanks for being part of the community. I hope it helped everyone. Happy Dialling. Giulio

Thursday Cold Calling Tip
Hello team! It's been great to see you all helping one another in the Forum! This week I want to really focus on the Pitch. I still see too many people pitching the benefits and how great our product is. People care about themselves, so make it about them! Framework: We speak to other (job titles) who are struggling with: - Problem 1 - Problem 2 Leading to a (consequence) But you may tell me (complete opposite). This works as you'll leverage social proof, show them you know them by talking about their problems and finally get them to start the conversation with the opposite statement. Updates: 1. You guys can now buy my online course for 269 USD (one time payment) from here. Reminders for everyone: 1. Post your struggles The Forum, and frame them as open questions for more answers. 2. The human brains learn best by discussing or teaching; give your opinion! 3. The more you engage, the more free stuff you’ll get in the Classroom. If you want direct access to me and more personalised coaching, join the Elite Community. Happy dialling! Giulio

How to deal with the question "what is it about" ... from the secretary
If discretion is very important within the process/business and you are given a phone number from the "gatekeeper"-assistent, but yet are only allowed to talk to the CEO / Boss, how would you "overcome" him/her, with the attention to connect you with the CEO?

@Denis Arnautovic I try to find the name of the CEO on the web first. then I call and ask if ceo (first name) is also present. I try to sound nonchalant as if the ceo and I know each other. when she asks what it is about I say that he/she would appreciate it if I share this with him/her personally. when she asks if I have his mobile number I indicate that I no longer have it and that I have changed phones. for me this is a way to often bypass the gatekeeper without lying

Do you prioritise cold calling?
It doesn't matter how strong you are, your brain will come up with any excuse in the book to not get it done. My three simple tips: 1. Time block (example below) 2. Get it done as early as possible 3. Have a minimum amount of conversations as a target (5-10-15-20, depending on your role and dealy size Welcome to all the new members. For those of you who don't know the two best way to get value here: 1. Ask questions about your problems in the Forum 2. Check out the Classroom for a bunch of content The more you engage, the more points you get the more free stuff you get. PS: If want calls with me check out the Elite Community.

@Giulio Segantini great tips! Especially focusing on having a certain number of conversations instead of focusing on booking a certain number of meetings takes the pressure off for me and ensures that my brain comes up with fewer excuses
