Hey guys, just following up on the question I finished our call with. This week Im going to be doing some interviews with some guest speakers. One is Hutch, the owner of Backdoor surf stores, a Christian surfer dad and business owner. I havent sent him any questions yet, but if you have any you'd like me to include send them to me by the end of the weekend. One is Bruce Benge, and Im looking to ask him these questions: First tell us a bit about yourself Q1. "You've spent years shepherding other people's families. Looking back, what were some of the challenges of having your own family throughout it?" Q2. "Was there a moment where one of your kids said or did something that stopped you in your tracks as a father — and what did you do about it?" Q3. "What does Scripture say about fatherhood that you think most Christian dads are actually ignoring?" Q4. "You had a front-row seat to hundreds of families. What's the pattern you kept seeing in the dads who were losing their families?" Q5. "And on the flip side — what were the patterns you saw in the families that were thriving, across all stages from young kids to adult children?" Q6. "If you could go back and tell 35-year-old you one thing about being a father — what is it?"

Right now I'm putting myself out there to have a massive impact on fathers and that means making a bold claim: "I help Christian fathers who feel overwhelmed, isolated and never enough lead their families with confidence and joy. Not because they're trying harder. But because they know who they are." The challenge is, the higher you push, the harder self-sabotage hits. This week I've had to wrestle my own self doubt, but I know that when you anchor yourself in who God created you to be and put your trust in Him, you can experience His joy in any circumstance. And as a result, I feel more resolved that I have to share how to overcome these challenges as a dad.
