Your members don’t leave. They miss once.
Something I’ve been noticing in many communities lately. It’s rarely that people suddenly disengage. More often it looks like this: they read a post (for intance) --- mean to respond --- get pulled away -- and just.. don’t come back to it. Nothing dramatic. Just one small miss. But from there, they don’t quite re-enter the same way. By the time it’s visible, they’re already kind of gone. Think about your last 5-10 active members: can you recall a moment where someone just ''slipped'' once like this? What happened after that?
