Open question to all musicians !

Circle of fifths, How relevant is this to violin playing?

Is it for jamming and knowing what to play that sounds nice together and/or writing songs?

I’m curious, as I would like to know if this chart/aid is helpful for me, and that will help me understand music better and compliment other musicians whilst playing (jamming) . Not that I’m anywhere near ready to perform in front of live audiences yet.
