I have been thinking about the difference between hoping to be discovered and becoming someone people seek out. When our videos live mostly in social feeds, we are often competing for a few seconds of attention. People are scrolling, multitasking, and moving quickly from one notification to the next. There is another kind of viewing experience, though. When someone settles into their living room and watches on a larger screen, they are often more relaxed, more focused, and more open to really hearing what you have to say. That is one reason I love exploring streaming opportunities for creators who have already done the meaningful work of building a message and a body of videos. Your proven videos may have more life in them than you realize. And when your expertise shows up in a place where people are ready to watch and listen, it can change the way people experience your authority. There's still cache' of being on TV!
