Reflections
I’d like to share a few reflections after the last Culture Class. I hesitated for a moment about opening up like this, but I hope these thoughts will be valuable in your own way. We were talking about that book, that I haven’t been able to read yet. Partly because other things feel like a priority right now, but also because the idea of a human past without wars never really moved me before, even though Wiktoria mentioned it many times. I think I just couldn't belive it. But this time something shifted. It didn’t feel impossible anymore. The next morning, I woke up with a feeling I didn’t recognize at first, because I haven’t felt it in a long time. It was fear. I lay down to be with it for a while and suddenly I felt/imagined a black whole in my chest. The sense of loss was intense. Since then it’s been hard to read or watch anything. I need lots of silence and rest. Even the CDs I used to listen to in my car now feel distant. And my cycle hasn’t shifted in the meantime! ;) The only music that resonates with me right now is Heilung… Thank you for holding this space sosososososo much.
Excited to Track again consistently
Hi, I've been sporadically tracking since 2015 when I was diagnosed with PMDD. I tend to track bowel movements consistently, and the start of my period, but otherwise not really paying too much attention lately. I'm trying to see how diet plays a part in my digestion issues. And as I move more into a perimenopausal phase the cyclical shifts in my moods have also changed. I'm also vaguely tracking the two teens in my home. One of whom may also have PMDD, significant PMS symptoms are present. So lots going on. Hoping to find some companionship and social accountability to keep me on track.
